Default Question on Wedding Invitations

For those of you who have made them - do you do the double envelope with them? If so, where do you get the envelopes?

I'm making a friends invitations as a gift and I'm almost done. It just dawned on me that I was only planning on one envelope!

Help!!

Depending on the size envelope(s) that you need, I always get all of mine at Kelly Paper. They have a good variety of sizes and they usually have both ivory and white. I have done lots of wedding invitations (it's my job) and I leave it up to the bride...some don't like the formality of the double envelope. HTH

At one time it was just about mandatory to have two envies - but then again weddings were funded by parents. These days it is really just the preference of the bride and groom. The more formal the wedding - and invitations - the more you should consider two envies.

Great gift by the way!

Thanks ladies! I appreciate your help. Thank goodness the bride only wanted one envelope!
