Default Question for SU! Hobby Demos

I am signing up to become a demo (and I am so completely excited!) in July and I had a question. How do you earn hostess sets if you are a hobby demo only? Do you have to place an order that is at least $150 to get a level 1 set and so on?

Thanks in advance!!

The only way to get the hostess sets except for earning them by being the hostess for a $150 party is we have to opportunity to order some of the level 2 and 3 sets before the new catalog is released. I either place 2 $150 orders or 1 $300 order per quarter. Very occasionally I'll get an outside order. It's an expensive hobby but soooooo much fun. I also sell cards to help me make my minimums.

In addition, to earning them by being a hostess yourself, in the past SU has given us an opportunity to pre-purchase a limited number of hostess sets prior to the new catalog being released. For example, we were just able to puchase 1 Level 2 and 1 Level 3 hostess set during June.

I am a hobby demo but have 3 customers who purchase pretty regularly (my mom, MIL, and best friend). I tell them when I'm planning on ordering and ask them to get their stuff in. There are different ways to submit orders with Stampin Up but if I have a couple of orders I submit as a workshop with myself as the hostess and earn hostess sets that way, or as a demonstrator order and I get hostess sets that way. Just find a couple of people you can enable easily (moms are the best) and their orders will help you out. And just save up and place all your orders at once (such as end of the month) instead of placing lots of little ones and losing out on the benefits. HTH!!

Thank you for the information. I figured I would have to place an order large enough to earn the hostess sets, I just wasn't sure. You all have been a great help!!
