Default Question re CD calendars

For anyone that has completed the CD calendar: Do all 12 months fit into the CD case when the lid is closed? I did a regular calendar and it got a little bulky with layers and embellishments. Thank you!

We just finished the cd alendar and loved it. But we only put 1 month in the case and decided to make a matching envelope to hold the other months. It can sit on the back of the case.
I just love all the ideas on this sight. It's just great!!!!

I've also heard that you put the months you aren't using in the bottom/stand portion of the case. Haven't tried making one of these yet myself.

Default Closed lid...

I was thinking....if you gave it as a gift could you enclose all 12 calendars inside the case? Does that make sense? I just might have to make one and see for myself

Happy 4th to all!

In another thread, a similar question was asked. The reply there was, "You can print the calendars FREE by using shareware follow this link http://www.red-castle.com/software/fw/printcal.htm then click the click here button to begin the download - you can change the size of the calendar you want to print, the font and the color - I printed small ones as to not block my stamped images the size I used was 2.312 x 1.750 the whole year printed out on 1 piece of paper. "

hello~

I made some of these not too long ago...did it through 2005 and with embellishments and stuff, there was no way that they were going to fit into the cd case. I made a little box type thing to put the extras in. Just stamped it to match the covers I made. Idon't see how they would ever fit into the cd case unless there weren't embellishments and stuff like that. Hope this helps. As far as the size of the pages themselves, they are 4.75x4.75. I have heard that you can make them in a zip disk case too, which is much smaller and is thicker than a cd case. Might have to try that one too...I want to say they are like 3x3 or something like that. Have fun!! :P

Loridee,

Thank you, Thank you! You answered my question perfectly. I didn't think they would fit, but was hoping. I know 12 sheets of cardstock with only 1 "layer" is 24 sheets of thickness...and who can only put on 1 layer! LOL Again, fellow Oregonian (Bend, OR for me!) Thanks and Happy 4th to you!

Hello...

Here's the link to the website with the tutorial for this project, as well as other projects. It's under classes. She (Melissa) has a lot of cool things, stamps, samples, etc.

Oh, regarding the calendar, if you have knowledge of MSN Word it can be created that way as well.

I am starting to make these for Christmas gifts and I went to this website to print off my annual calendars.

http://www.printfree.com/Calendars.htm

They are coming out real cute. I am making one whole complete one and then will make 12 add'l ones for gifts. I am making each month a different theme, like January, I stamped snowmen, February I did heart with red for Valentines and so on. I have 3 more months left to do, June, July & August.

Okay I went to the website, but they are pretty big to print....Am I looking at the wrong area? Way to big for a CD calendar!

Hi Jenn.

I found this calendar software program to be cut and dry and it will allow you to print it to size.

Does anyone have samples of their calendar pages scanned in somewhere? I am running short of ideas for a couple of months.
TIA,
Jen
