ELZYBELLS!!!!

Oh how I miss Elzybells stamps! I have quite a collection, but it's so hard to find ones I want when they closed their doors 3years ago.

If it's an image I want I buy them unmounted. You might put a list in tne Buy/Sell forum and see what happens. Or just send me the list

...museum of modern rubber !!!...I loved the interactive stamps...and all night media...still have one of their plush bunnies and a lot of their stamps...this has been a walk down memory lane for someone who started stamping in 1993...I also have several neat designs from stampfrancisco and goodstamps/stampgoods...and I also miss the nice thick sample loaded rubber stamping magazines of the 90's...today's mags are thin and mostly ads it seems......

I miss Annette Allen Watkins too! Her current offerings are NOT like the one stamp that I have by her!! I have this cute, country angel stamp full of stitches. In roughly the same style, I miss DOTS (now CTMH) - the country cutesy, folksy stuff (not CTMH's current style!).

Here's another PSX lover!! Those too were the main ones I bought when I first started years ago! I have many of the floral ones, and loved the Christmas ones as well. Animal ones were so good too for those masculine cards, and Nature....need I say more. I didn't realize they were being sold on Ebay, I don't sell there, just buy, but not sure I would mess with that.

Museum of Modern Rubber seems to be available from Sweet Stampen
A few years ago, I saw a vendor at a convention that aparently had bought the Ann-ticipations line. Can't remember the company right now. I'll post it I think of it.

I loved Museum of Modern Rubber and, when I first started stamping, I bought tons of things from Embossing Arts. I rarely use stamps that old any more but it's fun to look back at what was popular way back when.

I too immediately thought of PSX before I saw any comments!

Although...there are a few of the old SU! sets that I would love to have from before I ever heard of them.

Default PSX

I'm fairly new here but not to stamping and I agree. PSX would be the one I'd bring back.

Now if someone would only bring back the one stamp I want (and I have no clue who made it) but it is the north end of a south-bound cat who is "looking back to see" and she says, "Does this card make my butt look big?" Gotta have that stamp!

I'm so glad I never got rid of the old stamps I bought when I started 15 years ago. They were ahead of their time- remember the wood mount stamps that you bought at Michael's and they had the color image on the front? I would bring them home, but I didn't have the tools to color them in properly and I would get so frustrated! 15 years later, and now I have Copics and videos to teach me how to get the shade accurate. Now my stamping projects actually look a little like the picture on the wood mount and it makes me happy. Took 15 years for the craft to catch up with the manufacturer!!

Have fun looking! RSMadness - the original stamping magazine
This is a helpful list. However I can say without hesitation that Sarasota Stamps which is listed as not being in business is very much in business with many new designs from this past year! Every year Sarasota Stamps are at our State Fair and 2 weeks ago was no exception. I figured that I had better pass this on seeing that Sarasota Stamps do carry beautiful images and verse.

I was fortunate enough to come across Cornish Heritage Farms about 3 months or so before they closed. At that time I had ordered many of their large background stamps. I quickly became enamored with them. So when I finally got back to the site to find it closed I was quite sad.

I think some of the PSX line was bought out by Inkadinkado and they are calling it "fine line classics" that line, but the are altering the designs a little ( usually making them smaller)

I have not seen any co. mentioned that I do not miss but, my number one would be PSX.

Default Ann-ticipations stamps?

I believe that Stamps and More may have bought the Ann-Ticipations line. If I can find an old catalog, I'll check it. Or perhaps someone else still has one of their catalogs?

I miss Onyx Expressions and Stamp Zia. I would think that with so many people missing PSX stamps, someone would start making that type of stamp. Not wood mounted, but realistic looking. Don't see much of those around, and really miss them.

I hope no one minds me reviving this old thread, but I wanted to add my two cents.

I loved the stuff the Remarkable rubber stamp company put out. They had these cute little overhead images. I wish I'd bought them all up. I do have the lawn mower guy . . . somewhere.

I also miss hitting Stampa Barbara on trips to California. That truly was stamping Meca.

I miss Waltzingmouse Stamps. Claire is designing for Gina K now, but the selection is very limited.

I also missed out on buying monogram stamps from Clear and Simple Stamps before they went out of business.

Waltzingmouse by Claire Brennan I believe that Claire came up with the idea to design stamps to go along with dies. Her sets were chock full of gorgeous different images.

I don't know if Great Impressions is still around. I checked out their website and blog, but they haven't posted anything since July 2017. I loved their boards with card designs using the same collection of stamps. Some of them are still available on their website.
