Default Question on Cookie Cutter Christmas SU set

Hello! So I was just looking at my Cookie Cutter Christmas set and was trying to figure out what the dots between the to and from stamp and the sentiment "Have yourself a beary merry christmas" are. They appear too far apart to be eyes. Anyone help?

It looks like they punch out separately with the punch so maybe eyes for the gingerbread man?

They are eyes for the gingerbread man. They punch out, they aren't made to actually stamp the eyes directly on the gingerbread man.

Another Cookie Cutter Christmas question - how do you get a clean image with the gingerbread man? I have tried SU whisper white and Gina K and had no luck. I do have a Misti and even stamping it over and over it's still not clean. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried inking the stamp with versamark and then the ink your using?

I do best checking that ink has been evenly applied before stamping, and always stamping with a pad underneath my paper.

No, I haven't tried using versamark before inking - I will give that a try. Thank you!
