Default question about uploading to gallery

Sorry if I am asking a question here that I know I have seen before but do you think I can find the thread? I am finally ready to put some of my work out there for everyone to see. When I went to try and upload the card it only asked me where the file was and something about the URL to "parse" (whatever that means). Sorry, fairly computer illiterate here. There also wasn't anywhere to tell what stamp sets, supplies, etc. where used on the card. Help!! What am I doing wrong? I know I am probably missing something really easy. Thanks, Ann

Default question about uploading to gallery

Since I only recently started a gallery, your experience is fresh in my mind. It is very helpful to read the aforementioned uploading tips. Also, be reassured, it's easier than you think. First, you have to browse for the file name you want to upload -- just open it in that first field. Don't worry about the URL, it's not needed for uploading a file from your computer. Just click submit, and then it will automatically take you to the next screen where you can write all the stuff about your card. Then submit again.

So -- Find file, submit. Write stuff, submit. That's all I do (aside from making sure I send a nice, clean file). I hope I'm doing it right. It seems to work! -- Also, when you go to your gallery, there will be a little box that says "image pending approval". That's ok. Your card will show up there pretty soon. -- Leslie

Thanks for the tips Leslie. That is pretty much what I did but it never took me to the screen to add everything. Maybe in the morning when I'm more awake I can play with it again. Thanks for the help. Ann
