Question Question about SU's new ink

Can I use the new formula reinkers in my old formula classic ink pads?

I really like the new ink as it works wonderfully with my clear stamps. But I don't want to spend the money to replace all my "old" ink pads. It would be a lot easier on my wallet if I can use the new formula reinkers in them!

TIA

Yes, you can. (But I do have to say that I think you'd really like the new pads!)

There are five inks that will not work with the old pads: Marina Mist, Perfect Plum, Tempting Turquoise, Basic Black and Basic Gray.

The pad itself is what changed (felt to firm foam) not the inks. Reinking your old pads with new reinkers will not help with clear stamps. The only inks that changed are the ones listed above by Amanda and they only changed to work with the foam material. BTW, you can use those new reinkers in your old pads. I just double checked that info before responding here. It is the foam material that makes all the difference. I have clear stamps too and am very excited by how nicely they stamp with the new pads.
