I am planning on signing up as a demo soon, and I was just wondering if the free shipping would apply to the starter kit.
Any info you have on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I can't wait to sign up. I am thinking in the beginning of Decmber, because as i understand it, that is be beginning of the next quarter, and i would have the most time to meet the quarterly deadlines.
Squeek, the next full quarter for sales in Jan-Feb-March, so if you sign up then, you wouldn't need to submit sales until the END of the next full quarter, which is the April-May-June quarter. It's a nice bonus if anyone is off to a slow start with their business, to help keep the pressure off of fulfilling your $450 CDN minimum.
Also, this years promotion is that if you sign up during SAB you get to pick any retail set from the current catty, FREE!! Gotta love it

The mini catty quarter starts in December, but that is not the same as the sales quarters. maybe that's where the misunderstanding came in?
Reasons to wait until January:
1. It's during Sellabration so you get extra free stuff.
2. It's at the beginning of a quarter, so you'll have 5 1/2 months to get your first minimum due instead of only 3 1/2 months.
3. Taxes run on a calendar year so starting in January means you can include your starter kit as part of your tax deduction. You have to have a profit in 3 of your first 5 years so you wouldn't want to sign up in Dec and have that count as your first year when it was only a partial month and realistically not going to pull a profit.
My $1.5297 worth of advice.....

Momil5000, CDN just refers to Canadian, and GST is a federal tax we have (Goods & Services). I mentioned these since Squeek is Canadian and would be best served with Canadian-specific answers
The plus of waiting until January is I believe you get the bonus set - which if you pick Everyday Flexible Phrases - a $40 value! Plus you are right in the throws of SAB and when you order anything else with every $50 you'll get an SAB set. A great way to start! So get your camps or open house booked and get ready to fly the beginning of January

I looked at that set and my demo said, around by me NOBODY has ever ordered that because of the price, so I think I might just get Sketch It, it is $34.95 but it is so versatile. I can show how you can do Christmas, Thank you's,and all different Birthday cards with that set (even the Sesame Street Characters like so many have done!!
