Default Question about card submissions and the supply list

I am going to submit a card to a magazine contest and I have to list all the products I used. I can't remember where the brads came from. I didn't keep them in their original container and the store I got them from is closed now, so can't go back there.

I assume I really need to list where the brads came from? I can't for the life of me think of what the company is. I might know it if I hear/see it. The brads are matte finished, not shiny. Almost like a suede finish. They are the standard small size.

Thanks.

If I'm not 100% sure, I just say "unknown".

I will admit for staple items such as brads sometimes I'll just say they're by a manufacturer that specializes in them (e.g. for brads I would put Making Memories since I know I have a lot of them).

I don't think that the average person is going to care exactly what brand of certain items you use (with the exception of papers, stamps of course).

Thanks. I did one more online search and if it wasn't there I was going to say unknown, but i found it.

They are from Lasting Impressions.

Just for future reference, you can note these in your publication supply lists as "craft supply" as something like a brad especially can be found in any shape or size or color in various stores/brands.

I would say "leftover brads". I do this with others too, like cardstock, dp, etc.

I just always put "misc. brads., misc. ribbon, etc." if I don't know. But I have a very extensive Excel file I keep with my supply lists that I type up immediately after creating something. It's then easy to copy and paste to my blog, galleries, and magazine submissions. You can see more info here.
