Default What to charge for bookmarks

I make those bookmarks with the 4 inch paperclips and punches glued on the top. I use an SU scallop on the bottom layer, two circle layers and a flower punch for the top with a brad in the middle. What do you think is a good price to get for these?

My main expense is the paperclips as my Wal mart does not sell them and I buy them in a five pack at Office Max for $1.99, so they are 40 cents each. I use leftover paper scraps for the tops.

I was in a craft sale today. I sold my 4" paper clips for $1.00 each. I sold lots of them. However, my paper clips cost me less ... I paid $1.00 for 5 ...

I sell them for $1 each (and they sell well). However, I buy them at Wal Mart. Can you ask your Wal Mart if they can get them for you on a special order, especially since other Wal Marts sell them?? Just a thought.

Judy--I've asked for them at the Wal-mart on 96th St. and they looked at me like I was nuts. I wonder why they don't carry them around here? I bought some at Staples. The price seemed pretty good, but I can't remember now exactly what it was. Where is the show that you are doing?

I sold some paperclip book marks to a fdriend for $2.00 each, then I began to feel guilty if maybe I had charged too much.
