Default Valentine's Box?

Does anybody have any cute ideas for a Valentine's Box? Especially for boys?

I have to come up with two ... one for each of my boys for them to collect their valentine's in on Wednesday.

I got nuttin!

I don't even have a shoebox for Pete's sake!

I'm open to any and all ideas... thanks ladies!

What about the bag-a-lope, one sheet box, or genie bag? Check out resources. Lots of ideas there. ;)

I have my kindergarteners bring empty cereal boxes from home. I wrap them stapling the paper onto the open flapped end. Wrapping the bottom like you would a gift with tape. Then I cut a slot into the side, tape the top flaps down (so that they can easily be reopened without tearing off the paper from the box.) They decorate the front with doily hearts or cut out hearts, stickers, glitter, whatever. I put their name in glitter at the top over the slot in the side. They are the perfect size for Valentines and everyone always seems to have a cereal box and it is easier to wrap than shoe boxes. They always turn out cute. If I can remember to take my camera to school tomorrow, I'll upload a picture of these tomorrow on SCS.

Not sure how old your boys are, but I always let my daughter decorate her own (usually a shoe box or similar sized box I find around the house with a slit cut out on top). This year (3rd grade) they are doing bags, so tonight I will give her a white shopping bag and a pile of red, pink, white and purple scraps, stickers, ribbons (whatever we can find) along with scissors and glue. She usually comes up with something very "her".

Thanks ladies ... the cereal box is a good idea!

I did find a square priority mail box that I used for my little guy in pre-k. I wrapped it in checkered flag paper and put foam letter stickers on it that spelled out his name and then we glued red hearts all over it. I also cut out some race cars from another wrapping paper and he glued those on too. It looks pretty cute.

My oldest just wants a box wrapped in plain white paper so he can color on it. That's easy! I'm going to use my Stampin' Up! White Wrapping Paper... it's nice and thick so it won't show thru whatever is onthe box underneath.

Thanks again!

I thought so too! I never would have thought of that.
