Default Stamps for Pet Sympathy

Has anyone ever come across any stamps for making sympathy cards for someone who lost a pet?

rubberhedgehog.com has some rainbow bridge related stamps. They may even have loss of pet sayings.

I made a card for my neighbor when she lost her dog. Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of it before I gave it to her. It was something similar to this one. I used the same stamp from Little Hellos I think it is.

Here is one that Lauren Meader made for a friend who's dog passed. I think she did a gorgeous job on this.

Can I say that making a card for this is the nicest thing!! My pet is part of my family and my heart would be broken. What a wonderful friend you are.

I will check them out!

To clarify to everyone, I am not looking for card ideas. I manage a store and I'm looking for stamps specific to the loss of a pet. Poems, etc. When we had to put our dog to sleep, the vet sent us a card that said "the saddest day in your dogs life was also the best." Things like that.

Thanks!

No help on stamps, but it's a good idea. Pets are members of the family and it's heartbreaking when they die. My parent's poodle has been with them since she was 5 weeks old and is nearly 19 years old now. She is not doing well at all right now and they are seeing her last days, they fear.

Google rainbow bridge - pet loss. They have a link to poems and such - you could print on your cardbase, then finish the card. HTH!

I dont know of any specific stamps for this but maybe you could improvise and stamp out a large heart and then stamp pawprints onto that and take it from there.

On the rubberhedgehogs web site look under the categories of "Dogs" and "New". There are several saying for the loss of pets as well as dogs with wings and "dogs leave paw prints on our hearts".

I just made this card and got the poem (typed in the comments section of the card) from a pet sympathy thread that was going around here not that long ago. It was perfect for me. They also mentioned the rainbow bridge.

I recently had to make two pet sympathy cards and was surprised at how few stamps were available. Rubber hedge hog has two Rainbow bridge stamps and a general "sympathy on the loss of your pet."

I had some of my own made, including a kitty angel, a quote from a poem:
Rise up slowly, Angel;
it's hard to let you go

This quote is used frequently for the loss of a pet. Here's a card with the saying: Kitty angel sympathy card by stamper1996 at Splitcoaststampers

At the Allentown Heirloom Productions convention, there was a new company that had stamps related to cats and dogs. They had some specifically for the loss of a pet. I'll try to find the name for you. Eileen

It was called Purrs and Pants, I didn't get a card from them, but maybe Heirloom could help you with the information. I didn't save my brochure from the convention that lists the companies. Hope you find it. Eileen

Looks like they're not fully up and running yet. Here's the web site: http://purrsandpants.com/

I'm going to book mark it. . sounds like some neat stuff.
