scs get together DE & E. MD area- Pictures from today!
I just want to extend a GREAT BIG thank you to those of you that could make it!! I am amazed at how much we can learn from each other. Of course because of all the new information I'll be placing another *large* order with SU!!!!
As we talked about, I will have another get-together in January. Hope to see you all and hopefully some new faces.
We will have to post our shoe box swaps on this link...
we met in the Milford area - central Delaware. I am about 1.5 hours from DC. We met in my "Craft Cottage", an *extra* apartment on our property. All stamping all the time !!
We are doing this again in January then every couple of months. It was a BLAST!
You just make a card/gift. Then you fill a "shoe box" with enough materials for everyone to make your sample. It was just great! You can see how we got lots of different ideas!
Thanks, Val! I had such a great time and my poor head is still spinning from all that I learned. I just wish that I hadn't had such a migraine. My only regret is that I left my cheesecake in your fridge... OMG...that was really, really good cheesecake!!!
I came home, decided to re-capture the "playroom" that the kids never use, and make myself a stamp room.
Oh, the best part, I had a demo today, so I took my new coaster with me to show--on the way out the door, my DH dropped it and it broke. Guess that's what I get for hiring cheap help!! Keep in touch, ladies, it was so great to meet everyone!!
Hi, your pictures are great. I go to my su demonstrater's house once a month for a stamp club, she has the same idea where she has everything ready for different cards or boxes etc. so we can learn new ideas etc. It's great fun to get together that often and see what everyone's doing.
I got to thinking about our "proposed" get together in January and was hoping I hadn't missed it because (heaven forbid) I do not get on SCS on a daily basis and was worried I may have missed the post. I typed in Delaware in the search and VOILA, there was our picture on the big wide web!@! Looks like I haven't missed the January meeting. Thanks so much for having us...it was my first shoebox swap and I had so much fun getting to know everyone. I am having an open house for SAB on the 21 & 22nd of Jan. so I hope you don't schedule our get together that weekend...I will be so sad if I have to miss it. Are we still on?
I don't think Val has scheduled a date yet...although, it's good to know when your open house is! Mine will be Feb. 19, so that date is out for me! Val, let us know when we can come play!!
I am just in love with the craft cottage and especially that beautiful doggy in there. It looks like the kind of place most of us only dream of.... congrats on that !!
Gee, I live in maryland I'd love to come play too. If you are taking on more stampers please let me know. And if anyone is from Md. I'd love to carpool.
Thanks , Cher
Hello Ladies! I missed out on the last one, but I would LOVE to make the next one!!! I've got a big group meeting on the 29th, but Feb 12th is wide open!
Val - LOVE your "boys" - the baby is just too cute!!!
Hope to hear from you soon!

Count me in!! I had such a great time before that I wouldn't miss it. Can I bring my new recruit and possibly another guest? What kind of goodies would you like us to bring? Are we doing another shoe box swap? I am really looking forward to seeing everyone again and hearing about everything you've been stampin'! Val the puppy is adorable.
the more the merrier, right? I'm all for another shoebox swap--it was so much fun! Looking forward to seeing everyone again (and meeting more new friends!) amy
