Default Ribbon bows on cards...question

I saw some neat cards with ribbon used, and a flat bow. How are you guys getting these flat bows?? This ribbon wasn't thin either, pls tell me how you did that! Thanks :lol:

Do you mean a false bow -- one done with a "knot" at the center and two loose ends of ribbon rather than loops?

Hi Steph;
I don't know about anyone else, but I use a bowmaker for all my bows. They come out nice and flat and they also do not come apart. I bought mine on sale from The Craft Ladies. It makes all sizes of bows for your cards and it doesn't mater how big yur ribbon is either.I think you shoud check it out!

there's another one that I use where I punch two holes in the card stock.
I pull ribbon through so one end is out on the front of the card.
Then I pull the rest through the second hole (this should be longer).
Then I take it bring it back and pull it through the first hole (it's a tight squeeze)
Then back through the second hole so that the remaining ribbon is out on the front of the card.

Does that make any sense at all? I'll include a link to a card that has one of these "bows".
