Anyone else been getting partial orders from SU? The last order I placed before the end of the old catalog period was a partial and I still haven't gotten what wasn't shipped in the order. Then I saw where the order that should be coming in this week has five things that aren't shipping. Anyone else been having this problem lately? I've never had things not ship before these last two orders. How long does it usually take to get the things that weren't shipped in the order?
I have a couple of orders that are still 'partially shipped', but the items that I've ordered are listed on the backorder report with exception to the new stamp set "pines ???.". I think it says on the report when the other items would be available.
I guess we've got to expect some of this at this time of year. They are busy busy busy. If it isn't on the backorder report, I would expect it to ship pretty soon. Good luck!
I just received two orders yesterday. One order was placed before the new catalog period began and the other was placed after. Both of them had items that didn't ship, none of which are listed on the backorder report. I noticed this morning, too, that the workshop order I placed on Sunday night is partially shipped - and the things missing on that order are different from the other missing items and also not listed on the backorder report!
I'm a little frustrated because I REALLY wanted one of the sets that hasn't come yet, but I can certainly understand how busy they must be these days!
Me too!! My order from before close of old catalog is partial. My Halloween Hedgies are on B/O aka "we need to make some more" ~ I'm bummed too, I want to make some coasters with them. Hopefully when they process my next order, nothing will be on b/o. I only ordered one set and I need it for a swap.
SU! is indeed extremely busy at this time of year. Things listed on the BO report are usually things that will take a bit of time before they will be available again. If it's not on there and it's back ordered on your shipment, you can expect it will ship out shortly after your original shipment. I've even had items that were back ordered from the original shipment arrive BEFORE the shipment gets here! They send backordered items out USPS and sometimes it gets here faster than UPS.
Jan is correct! The backorder list you see on your screen does not reflect all of the back orders. You would be amazed at the number of orders that have gone through in the past week. We have many many (pages worth) of stamp sets we run out of, place on (ours , the one at work) the backorder list and end up shipping the next day. The one you see online is only of items we know in advance will be on backorder for awhile, like the very popular aquapainter. We are putting those orders out just as fast as possible, be patient and i promise those backorder sets will get to you asap. Heck i'm waiting for 4 items on my order alone. Happy Stamping! Sharie

From my order, I am not getting the Aqaupainters, dazzling diamonds glitter, and Simply Circles stamp set, none of which are listed on the Backorder report except the Aquapainters.

I have wonderful words, the craft tools, aquapainters and font cd #2 on backorder. I also still have about 5 sets from before the transition that are on backorder.
I feel so lucky - only my aquapainters are on B/O. Maybe I'm just ordering unpopular things? But NOT the Corn Children or Gnome Santa! Not even to avoid a partial.
I have an order I placed before the end of the old catty and my hostess choice is still not shipped I got the Simply Scrappin and it has not shipped. My order I placed on Friday has been shipped except for the Vanilla, but that one I knoew about so I am not surprised about that.
I just can't wait to get this new order in I already have ideas for the sets I chose!
Both my order from the old catalog and my new one that were both partial ships are picking!! Can't wait to see what gets sent next! I know that the aquapainters are supposed to be backordered longer, but it would be so nice to see a surprise and have everything ship!
I have to wait on wonderful words and all wrapped up. Such a bummer. But partial shipments happen so rarely that I think I can cut SU some slack. Though I will admit it is a tough situation for me. I am IMPATIENT!!!! AAAHHHHH!! It has been my experience that it won't take long to get them. So I will just go and think happy thoughts...
My demo said my order arrived yesterday, I was customer / hostess all in one, had a great time! She never mentioned anything not there but now you have me afraid to look!
As long as Petal Prints is there, I can go on....if not, I will need some therapy quick!

I have been very blessed....even things on the backorder report have shipped for me.
I have only had 3 items backordered since I became a demo a little over a year ago! Way to go, SU!
The one thing that I've been a little disappointed in.......it's been backordered for over a month......it's a supply order......the mousepads. I wanted to use them for a door prize for a Scrapathon this weekend. Doesn't look like that's going to happen. I WAS going to demonstrate how you can use a mousepad to dry emboss with if you don't have a light table. Oh well....it can wait for another time......or maybe the Brown Man will surprise me before Friday! ::::::::keeping my fingers crossed::::::::
Regardless, I think SU! is fantastic and I have no complaints.

I placed an order last week and it was partial. Missing were Wonderful Words & copper embossing powder. I just saw last night (Tuesday) that everything shipped-- yea, Wonderful Words will be here soon.
I placed a supply order on July 1st and the apron has been on backorder, but now it says "picking" again so it must be in now. I also placed a new catalog order on the 20th and one of the stamp sets was "backordered", but that order fully shipped yesterday. Their picking the hostess order I closed yesterday so I'll see if that has any backorders.

I fully understand that this is a busy time for SU!, but what drives me nuts is when they introduce a new product, ie. Aqua Painters and then it is immediately on backorder forever. THis is a huge thing that everyone wants to show their customers. I will not show my customers something that is not going to be there for a while. it is not fair to them.
I placed a huge supply order from logo place 2 weeks before convention to use items as prizes for drawings at my open house. I am still waiting on some of the items as well as they backordered. Right now it is the water bottles. When I spoke to DS on both July 13 as well as yesterday, they have no idea when they will be getting them in, as it is coming from an outside source. I mentioned to them that it has been almost a month and I have already been charged for them, perhaps they could reverse the charges and I could choose something else that I could use immediately. Of course that is not possible.
Hopefully this will all be over soon.

OOOhhh Kendra...you're giving me hope! I, too, ordered the Wonderful Words and copper embossing powder, and both were back-ordered. (they did a great job of selling us on the copper stuff, didn't they?) I saw this a.m. the embossing powder was sent...hopefully the words will be here soon after!!
