Wishing I could hide behind the computer screen and ask this question. ;)
I signed up for a OSW swap. I completed my cards but not yet mailed in. I was reading a post about what abbrevations stood for on the MB. (message board;) ). OSW I discovered mean OneSheetWonder. Well, I did not use one sheet of CS (cardstock) but many sheets of CS for this swap. I am wondering if I am not following the instructions. So, without asking in front of all the swap girls, can you help me out?
I tried to find the swap on the "swap" section, but it is buried somewhere. I copy my topics to make sure I don't lose them in all the post. Sorry, wish I could connect the swap so you could see it.
I wish I could give you good news, but unfortunately you are correct, you have not followed directions. A One sheet wonder is commonly referring to a sheet of white cardstock (either 8 1/2 x 11 or 12 x12) that has been randomly stamped to make your own "designer paper". If you look under the gallery you will find what I mean. Here is a link: One Sheet Wonders by ruby-heartedmom at Splitcoaststampers
Occassionally it can also mean using the same piece of designer paper and cutting it up to make a variety of cards.
Thank you so much for your reply. I did take cardstock, an light tan color and stamp a design on it. The cards are 4.5 x 5.5. Think I'll be ok?
I have now gone to check out the gallery you supplied. I do think I will start over. The swap asked that you make your own designer paper. Which I did, but the whole card is stamped. Thanks again for all your help.

One day, I get this stampin stuff down pat!
without seeing the swap details, it's hard to say. sometimes, you just send the OSW pieces and not cards...
Without seeing your card and the swap details, it's tough for us to tell. I'd message the swap hostess privately and ask if you're within the guidelines.
It may be helpful to her to have a picture on-hand.
