Default Need Ideas for Weenie/Marshmallow roast...HELP!

Okay gals. I'm hoping you can all help me out with some ideas.

Here's my situation...My twins (both boys!) will be turning 5 in October. We plan on having a weenie/marshmallow roast for their party. I would love to come up with something clever for their invitations and scrap pages. I love the Campout set, but the image with two kids is a boy & a girl. I've thought of trying to modify the image, but I think it would still look too girly. (nothing against girls, but my boys are manly boys)

Please help me with any ideas. Thanks!
Brandi

Check out the background on this card by Lunarlana. It would be perfect for your invitations. You could do that with just the "fire" stamp from Campout.

My 7 yr. old daughter had a weenie roast for her birthday last week. I made invitations using the girl (of course you would use the boy) from Crayon Kids. Then I used the marshamallows (w/liq. applique) and the fire from Roughing It. I put a party hat & the words from Smile on it too. I can post a picture if you'd like. It was really cute!

Thanks for all the ideas. Keep them coming!!

I have thought about using a mirror image for the boy, but he's only holding the graham crackers. I'd really like to have the marshmallow on a stick too.

I'd like to see any samples you all might have. There were a few in the gallery, but I'm sure there's more out there.

Thanks!

Here's an idea...

I think if I were doing this, I would try to find a character stamp that is holding something - omit what it's holding - and replace it with the marshmellow stick from Roughing It. And let it be the focal part of the invitation front.

Like you could use the balloon carrying hedgehodge in "Hedgehog Happiness" or the little boy from "Time for Fun" - replacing the ice cream cone, or the sign carrying little guy in "Little Trucks", or the standing upright little guy in "Kids at Play" or what about giving the stick to the frog in "Pocket Fun", or the crab in "Fishy Friends"... well you get the idea

:-D

Default Party

NO ideas for the invitation, but you can make up a snack bag with pretzels, chex cereal, mini chocolate bars and marshmellows.... could also turn it into a craft project.... See what the kids come up with.
