Default Need Help: Blank Stampin' Spots

Ladies,

I am looking for blank stamp pads similar to our Stampin' Spots. I have a couple spots in bad shape and don't want to purchase an entire new box for that one pad. Also would like them in our In Colors. Has anyone ever found these on-line?

Thanks!
Kristen

Wink

Here is where I bought mine last year:

Welburn Gourd Farm

They are the same as SU stamping spots and have held up nice!

I hope this helps!

I get mine at the Gourd Farm, too, and have made In Color spots. They work really well....

Did you buy the foam kind or the traditional pad (cloth??) kind? I'm trying to decide which kind to get. I'm super excited to make my own In Color pads and also make a kit for my friend deployed to Baghdad! Tactical Stampin!

I ordered my cubes from Welburn, but here is another company and they also carry foam cubes for craft ink. http://www.mardigourds.com/index.php...index&cPath=93 , if this link does not work just go to mardigourds.com and look around for them.

You'll want the fabric type for classic dye inks. Love my cubes from the gourd farm!

Here is the direct link for Mardigourds: http://www.mardigourds.com/index.php...8a18306b5c20de

I ordered a bunch from them last year. Very easy to make your own spots.

If you are making pads for the In Colors you want felt pads....they are used for the dye inks.

I got the traditional cloth ink pads. They state that they are for dye inks. They appear to be the same as the SU spots. I am not sure about the felt pads.

Default Make Your Own Spots

Does anyone out there know if places like Michael's, JoAnn's and HL sell the empty spot pads? I'd much rather use a 40-50% off coupon, KWIM???

Default pads

I have not found empty ones at either place, but I did just buy the ones at joanns in the dollar section (ours is by the registers) they are in halloween colors...a nice size too bigger than our stampin spots...they are like a very soft foam..I washed them under warm water until all the ink was out and then used our refills and now I have all the in color spots. I like the ones on the gourd site, but I am a bit to cheap and had to find another way,.

A long time ago (meaning years) I found a blank stamp pad at Hobby Lobby. Bought it by accident, I was clueless on what I was buying. I have never seen them again. I looked at HL, Michaels, JoAnn, and could never find them again. I finally ordered them online. I think the online places listed are your best bet.

Mardigourds is not selling art supplies anymore. Does anyone know of any other sources for un-inked ink spots? I would like to make some ink spots in the SU In Colors.

I have ordered from Welburn Gourd in the past and from Mardigourds. This time I ordered from Frantic Fran. Fran has very quick service. I will order from her again in the future.
