Linda, is it a new or retired set? I looked on their site and none look orange but some times old stamps just change color. I have some stamps that have yellowed but they still stamp OK. I've never heard of this company so I don't really know about them.

She very clearly says on her site that her stamps are high quality clear photopolymer, so orange doesn't sound normal.

Sounds like someone used a staining orange ink on them. Photopolymer will stain, but it doesn't affect the way they stamp.

I know there's a couple of places that use peach-tinted photopolymer (ex. Jaded Blossom, Pretty Cute Stamps), so it could be normal if the tint is uniform and subtle. I don't have any stamps by My Creative Time, so I can't tell if this is the case for them too.

I found this image - looks like they are clear.

But that's a good point - it could actually be a set from a company that uses a tinted polymer. Or they could have switched.

My first stamps from My Creative Time were an orange tint, so I would say they are just stamps produced a few years ago (not ancient stamps, by any means! They will stamp flawlessly!)
The orange tinted MCT stamps I have also are in rectangle shapes, no matter what the saying is. They appear to be poured into a mold and the mold shape was rectangle,
The newer stamps I have from MCT are clear photopolymer and the shape of stamp pretty much follows the shape of the saying or image, rather than looking like they have been poured into a mold.

Hope this info is helpful. The stamps you have are genuine stamps from MCT and no one has used/stained them with ink before you got them. ;)

As a PS about My Creative Time....I have been buying from her for a few years and I have found that she has some really unique and wonderful dies. They end up being dies that I use quite frequently, so despite the higher cost, they have turned out to be a good value because they are versatile and reliable and different.
If you sign up on her site you will be notified of sales, and specials. She will quite often have a Friday Flash Sale that is not announce ahead of time. This is a great time to pick up some awesome product for discounted price. She ships quick, so no waiting forever to get your order. Good company and quality product!
