Has anyone ordered from Molly's Square - the "one deal of the day" type site before? I'm wondering about their reliability.
I placed an order on 4/2 and the info on the product said it would be mailed on 4/5. I just received a notice indicating the printing label was only printed today. In checking, the carrier has not yet indicated receipt of the package. Since they only sell one thing a day, it would seem like it wouldn't be rocket science to have the items in shipping envelopes, print shipping labels and slap them on so they could be mailed in less than 9 days.
Or, if they can't meet a promised shipping date, they could easily notify customers. I guess I am just spoiled by Gina K customer service.
I have ordered from her several times and have always been happy with my purchase. It may take her a couple days longer I guess since she is basically a one woman operation but it hasn't bothered me. She might have gotten behind because of the holiday too, I can't say for sure.
I've ordered from Molly's Square more often than I'll admit to. So dang enabling! Half the time there's even a video on what to do with the item currently being sold! The nerve! Oh! And the even answer emails!
I've never had any issue purchasing from this site.

I have a problem with businesses that charge before they send merchandise not advertised as a pre-order. I'll withhold that payment from my credit card company, but it bothers me that I'm losing what used to be a good vendor.

I did finally get it after waiting over 3 weeks. I have never ordered from her again and deleted this vendor from my internet favorites. My friend had a similar problem about 2 months later and it took her 4 weeks to get her purchase.

My order came yesterday, also after about three weeks. It seems they're doing pre-orders now, selling new merchandise. They used to clearance out older things, and delievery was prompt then. It isn't the length of time to delivery that bothered me; it was the lack of response and charging my card before sending the merchandise. I also won't shop there again.
I placed an order a few weeks ago and I'm waiting on a back-order die set. I did get the Tim Holtz Crazy Birds die set AND stamp set. I found that if you type in the website and then SLASH shop ("/shop" after the dot com, you can scroll through pages of deals.
I received notification from paypal about the tracking number from that company.
The message hand written on my order from Molly's Square was:
"B/O will be sent Oct 4." So I waited 2 weeks and never received the back order from them. I sent a message via the page's 'Contact us" form.
About 3 days later, I emailed the company regarding the status of the back order, thinking "well, maybe the Contact Us form didn't work.
STILL no reply. 10-21-2015 I contacted the company via PayPal and set up a dispute saying that I only received part of my order and requested to receive $11.00 back. A few days later I contacted the seller AGAIN, adding additional information.
After over a month of waiting for the supposed ship date of the back ordered item, I escalated the dispute with Pay Pal.
PayPal contacted Molly's Square and the very next day there was a resolution, with $11.00 refunded to my Pay Pal Account. :grin:Because shipping and handling was combined for the 3 items, I figured rounding the price that was on the website ($10.25) to the next dollar was MORE than fair. If that back order had ever been mailed, the postage would have been a lot more than the 75� addition I requested.
What really bugs me is that if this item was on back order, why was it still available to order from the website?! :confused:
I have removed Molly's Square from my Daily Deals folder and do not recommend them anymore. I don't have the time to keep following up with a company that refuses to communicate with me.
