Default Michael's Dollar Find

Michael's has Kids Journal for $1. They are memo cubes with a cover (right). I've attached a picture of what I did to it (left). It's probably about half the height of a regular memo cube but still make cute gifts/stocking stuffers.

I bought these a month or so ago. I pulled off the printed and binding covered it with cs and stamped the edges. They turned out extremely cute just a smaller version of the cubes that are posted.

Well, I just got back from Michaels so if you are in the Dayton Oh area, don't bother  I bought most of what they had. I am doing a craft fair and I hope to make some cute ones like the ones above.

Thanks for the great idea...of course I had to head to Michaels to try to find these and I was so disapointed that I couldn't find them so just looked around the store and wandered into the clearance section and woohoo, I found them in the clearance section for only 50 cents!!!

Ok, I didn't read the first post fully. I also got my cubes for 50 cents! When I saw that, I bought 20 of them. If there are still some on Sunday, after I have had time to experiment, I will go get the rest! At that price, it is definitely worth it!

I just bought 30 of them for .50 a piece. There were tons left at my Michael's! Can't wait to get busy!

I didn't see the 50 cents part until just now! Bummer - I was in the same shopping mall as Michaels this afternoon. Took my DD for a special ice cream snack because she jogged/walked 4 laps more than her goal at her school's jog-a-thon today. She did 3 miles total which I think is pretty good for a 6 yr old - especially, since I doubt I would have lasted that long myself.

Hmmm... wonder if I can talk my DH into dinner at the mall tonight. Then, I can just have one of those "Oh, while we're here..." moments.
