I Need a Pie!

OK stamping friends, I'm in need of a PIE! I need to humble myself to someone on Monday, and want to approach this person with a "humble pie." She's always been very fond of my papercrafts, and so a pie made with stamps, cardstock, etc. would hopefully go over VERY well! Has anyone ever seen a pattern for a 3-D pie? I have a vision, but am having trouble bringing it to life.. Looked in the Silhouette online store, but didn't find anything there except basic pie cut files, like you'd put on a card or page. I want something dimensional I can carry into her office, maybe even with something inside it, know what I mean? Help!

I've seen many 3D cakes out there - you know the ones with all the individual slices...

Could you adapt that and make it in Crumb Cake with a lattice pattern on top with maybe some cherries sticking through? That sounds adorable, now I want to make one! Lol!

What a great idea Tammy!

svgcuts.com has two kits with pies. One with slices (Crisp Days of Fall) and one with a lattice top pie (Fall Harvest).

OMGosh, the Harvest pie is PERFECT! Thank you for pointing out that site! How did I not know about it? I'm going to be up all night now...so many fantastic projects!

Be careful, that place is addicting and they come out with something new almost every week! BTW, make sure you check out their facebook page. Lots of chatter and info.

OK, REALLY frustrated now, though... what's up with all these sites where files require me to have Designer Edition software for my Cameo??? Glad I didn't spend the $6.99 to buy the file, only to discover I can't use it. :(

With the basic software you can only use images from the silhouette store. You have to upgrade to the designer edition in order to use svg files from other companies.
