My VERY talented sister-in-law, Cookiestamper, made me a really awesome purse book for my birthday. I can't tell you how much it means to me. This was a really hard week for me. We signed our baby up for kindergarten on Tuesday.
I can't believe all the time & work she put into it. It's just  There is just no other way to describe it! Here's the link for her gallery, if you want to take a peek. Thanks again Diane! You are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have really enjoyed each moment of my son's life. Instead of sadness, watch the joy in their faces as they take that step to new adventures.
Don't miss out on great memories (or that photo op for a scrapbook page) Once those moments are gone they never come back. :)
Our children grow up and move away, we don't lose them we gain in-laws! LOL
How are the pages adhered so that they turn and open???
She glued pretty pastel striped ribbon to the binding of the purse. Then she scored the cardstock pages so it will fold/close. The cardstock pages are adhered to the ribbon.

He is extremely excited to start, but ya know how it is when it's the last one to go off to k-g. Altho, I cried when his sister went to k-g, too. I've only ever scrapped one time, and that was 2 pages when DD went to k-g!!!! I just look at him and still see my baby, not an almost 5 yr old. I'm extremely thankful that he is excited, because he has no desire to have mom 'teach' him anything. The teachers at k-g registration said he did wonderful! Guess he was paying attention even if I thought he wasn't.
Brenda,
How lucky are you! The purse is just as cute as can be! And how fun to
have Cookiestamper for your SIL! You two must have a blast when you
get together to play! Thanks for sharing this with us.
Wow... This is really cute! I love how she combined different sets together... they look like they BELONG together! I'm sure we'll have people BEGGING for the pattern...
Oh, and did I say it was cute?

After 11 years as a demo, guess I'm not so"new" anymore!
Wow! That is so neat and in cool spring colors, too.
