Some of you have said that you use a hot knife for cutting the ezmount foam when you remount your stamps. I have a few questions...
1. I googled hot knife and found
this hobby hot knife and
this one too that is essentially an exacto knife blade that is hot. Is this what you are using? It is about $15-20.
2. I have
this stencil cutter with extra tips. It was made for cutting the stencil film for stenciling things on your wall, kwim? Will it work just as well? The tip is about 3/8 in long and 1/8 in diameter. Really fine point.
3. I assume that using the hot knife works really well when the rubber is already trimmed closely (or die cut) and you only need to trim the foam. That is where I have the hardest time getting a good cut with scissors.
4. It doesn't "cut" the rubber...right?
Hope someone can answer these questions for me...
