I feel ya, girls! I am at capacity, as well, so I'm passing on this sale - mostly because I just got what I needed for the gifts I'm making my granddaughters at the LAST sale! Those stamps will be here Tuesday... Unless they release something new and wonderful in the next while, I will be able to resist. I can safely say that I now own all of the Unity stamps I've wanted. And THAT is saying something!!! That is, of course, unless they decide to have a great sale on past membership kits for non-members, lol. I do have a few of those on my wish list...
I got 2 sets- last from my wishlist and one new one with the couple with the tree.... and a couple itty bitties. But they are so expensive to start with at 24-28 and more that even 1/2 off can be still 12 and up dollars which is where some other companies start. But that cleared my wishlist. It is nice that they are including the new release.

I hear you, for sure - that's why I ONLY buy their stamps on sale. They run sales literally every week on multiple categories, as a rule, so odds of what you want being on sale at some point are incredibly high. Also, their stamps tend to be larger than most, so there's that...
Oh Brother, I ordered twice in October and made a super big order yesterday to qualify for all the incentives! Had to use some christmas money so santa is brings me some Unity stamps this christmas!!

I agree, but as Sue said, wait long enough and either whatever you want will be on sale or there will be a site-wide sale. I hear a couple of owls hooting at me, but I checked my box last night and there just isn't space.
At least for me, the fact of not being able to order much or risk getting a tax and brokerage fee is an extra disincentive. I don't mind the tax, that's fair enough, but the brokerage on that is a killer. And it's quite a small amount that you can buy without running the risk - if the goods (including postage :shock are over €22 (about $25) technically you are liable for VAT, and the brokerage will cut in with that. I have been stuck with paying extra on small orders from MFT and Taylored Expressions, and the brokerage was more than the tax. Possibly once from Unity, too, come to think of it.
If the value of the goods themselves is over €150 you also have to pay customs duty - I've done that with cameras and lenses.
One thing I do like about Amazon.com is that even though I'll never qualify for free shipping, they add for the import taxes when you check out, so you don't have to worry about anything - and they usually overestimate so there's a small refund afterwards.

Wow-that is a seriously low threshold! I think from you to me in the states is 250 dollars? That is for customs. We dont have the other stuff-at I dont know as I never have had to deal with it. Is that true for all of the euro union? I thought that was one of the points of it? Brexit makes even less sense to me now since you guys did keep the pound.
We have sample sales here in the city all the time...but I have a saying. Half of too much is still too much usually. I am looking at things with one image and 2-3 sentiments. I don't see that as a "bigger set". A bunch of Harris work could be one image and one sentiment and be 28 dollars. :( see below

I didn't mean that the sets are larger (as in more stamps), I meant that the stamps themselves are larger (as in take up more space = use more rubber). As a reference, I can often fit an entire Stampin' Up! set on one 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" laminated card (some are on 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" and occasionally 4" x 6"), whereas the Unity sets often require a 4" x 6" card. Not the Itty Bitties, of course, but the regular sets. Many of the subscription sets require 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" or larger...
Unity is kicking up their game! Sale is still going on with new stamp releases, new incentive stamps with purchase and more !! Ugh
