Notice I didn't even call him the stalker clown! I have some ideas for this little fella. Some cute. Some goofy. I can't wait to play with him now! He seems friendly enough now that I have gotten used to him.
When the summer mini first came out, I said "NO WAY". Now I'm taking the plunge! I can't believe how Jenn and Beate got me to change my mind! I guess you really have to think out of the box! Lana
Wohooo Lana. You go girl. Conquering your fears and ordering this sweet innocent little clown. He will be good to you, I promise. And at night you can look him up in his own little plastic cell. He can't stalk you then when you sleep.
I am so proud of you. Lots of love and a cyber hug coming your way.
   Are you sure you made the right decision? Lana you have to wrap an elastic around the case too. Oh yeah and throw a cracker in with him to keep him busy for most of the night. Good luck - may the force be with you. Darth
Jenn took the words out of my mouth! NO FREAKING WAY! I swear.... Jenn, Beate, Debbie..... you could make me buy them all. Now Lana's getting the clown..... Oh, can't wait to see what she tweaks outta him. Don't be scared Lana... you can do it! He won't get you.... Jenn and Beate tamed him into a sweet, big, happy friend. I especially loved the latest pink glitter version from Beate!
Well...I don't have one of my own yet. But Jenn's behaved very well when he stayed at my house for a while. Of course I always made sure he was in the box at night and that in my cabinet with the doors closed. I hope mine (I will get one all for myself on Friday) will be just as nice.
So are you going to join SPICE (Society for the Promomotion of Images of Clownish Entertainers)?
I've been waffling on clown boy. On the one hand, I like him. But on the other hand, willl he make the new catalog? And I've already gone over my usual two set limit from any mini catalog. Decisions, decisions....
Oh Kurstan, you have to get it just for the tub! I felt the same way, but the Barbie head with flowers coming out of it is even growing on me. They are so different in color and on a card!
I just broke down and will have all the Summer Minis! Heck! You have to live a little sometimes!
This is what this place will do to you. Make you throw your two sets from the mini catalog pledge OUT THE WINDOW. As of tomorrow, they are all mine, too. Can't wait to get them!
I still don't like the clown...nothing against clowns but this one kinda reminds me of stephen king's clown. Yuck! I love the La-Dee-Da set and the Petal Prints wheel. Nothing else really struck me as have to have. Of course it could also be b/c I am saving up to order from the new catty. Dunno...clown has to go tho.

Lana, I have to warn you....do NOT store that stamp set in the closet at night!! Nothing scarier than a clown hiding in your closet in the dark!!! I don't know how many Seinfeld fans there are here, but you may wake up in the middle of the night yelling "Mr. Marbles????"
Okay, well here is what I have been wondering about the clown. I don't think I'll purchase it, but could he balance on his nose? What do you think? Or could he balance on the flower orthe present or the balls? .... it would be fun to see what comes out in the gallery...maybe there is one, I'll check later when my kids aren't awake.
Yes he can balance stuff on his nose. Check out the gallery. The very first card posted with that set had a clown balancing something on his nose. Jenn did an awesome job on that card...just like on all her work.
I just reread my post, and realized I said the wrong thing. (Under duress of a 5 year old wanting to go swimming)
What I meant was could the clown balance ON his nose? What if he balanced on flower or the balls or the present? Seems like fun to me, but I don't think I'll buy this set. Maybe, well,...
That sounds cool. We could call him upside down clown. No that would be a downright silly clown. No one could be scared of him.
I can't try it out. I don't have one yet. Mine is all alone in a big brown box in a UPS truck somewhere. Poor little guy. I will set him free on Friday and will see if he can stand on his nose. Great idea!!!!!!
This clown creeps me out. I DO NOT like clowns! As someone else said...it reminds me of the clown in Stephen King's "It". My son doesn't like clowns either, so I'm going to pass this one up...even though there are some cute cards in the gallery made with this set. I'd rather save my $$ for sets out of the new catty! Can't wait!

I can't believe you are going to torture innocent people with cards made with that scary scary clown!!!!!!!!! Noooooooooooooo!
