Hi,

Where does everyone buy their envelopes and card sleeves from? I am looking for something inexpensive. Thanks.

I guess it depends on how many you need. I get my envelopes at expedex- check to see if your area has one. or clearbags...I get my clear wraps at uniquepacking on ebay- cause i can get lots at a time..i think clear bags has them too

While we're at it . . . I make cards with lots of layers and embellishments. Papertrey Ink sells a clear plastic box that's perfect (here). I love, love Papertrey Ink. Their product is tops, but does anyone have a less expensive alternative?

Does anyone know of good places in Canada? It would be nice to avoid the duty and higher taxes.

I am curious what folks do for "chunky" cards with layers and embellishments...I get a different rate and story each time I go to the PO. I would like some attractive envelopes or boxes for my next year's Christmas cards which will have lots of trim, lace etc.

I've ordered the clear bags for my cards from Crystal Clear Bags, they sent samples of their envelopes when I first was wondering what size bag to get. I looked at their envelopes, and if you want just plain white that will fit a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (A2) size card, they are called the Mohawk Envelope and it's 15 cents each and then 14 cents if you order more than 1000.

I really like their company, they were super helpful when I had trouble figuring out what size envelope to get b/c some of my cards are bulky, they sent a bunch of different sample ones so I'd get the right fit. Order some and see how you like them.

Dee =)

My little scrapbooking store has a bunch of different sized ones for about 10 cents each. She only has 3 patterned ones in the A2 size, but I get them everytime.

I recently purchased 50 A2 sized envelopes at Archiver's for $6.99 with a 30% off coupon ($2.31 off). I know that isn't as good a deal as some, but I didn't have time to wait for delivery.
