Default Coaster Calendars

Hi Everyone-

I am finally ready to make my first coaster calendar...but I have questions I am hoping you all can help me with.

1) I am trying to find some calendars similar to the ones sold by stamp on this (they are sold out) because they are all black/grey without any red on them. Any suggestions of other places to purchase them or other places to download them?

2) What adhesive do you use to adhere the paper to the coaster? Suggestions?

Thanks for all of your help with this! I am new to all of this and always appreciate your assistance!

Amy

I don't know if this is what you are looking for, but I thought that there was a template on here under resources that had the calendars.

I can answer your second question....I use the glue stick from SU to adhere paper to my coasters and other chipboard projects. Works great and isn't as messy as many other options.

Here is a link to a thread that tells how to print out your own calendar:
Forums at Splitcoaststampers

I had trouble getting that one to print in the color I wanted so I used the free templates from Redcastle.com:

http://www.redcastle.com/software/fw/printcal.htm

Do save it though or else you have to start all over again. This worked great for me and I could print in whatever color I wanted!!!!

Here's the result:
coaster calendar fancy
coaster calendar plain-er

Hope that helps!

edited to add: ditto on the glue stick... way less messy than modge podge!!!

I run the dp through my large x-ron and then I sand and blend the edges. Then I sometimes run ink along the edges if I don't want the white showing. KWIM. Su's glue stick would be the cheaper way to go but The xyron is less messy and if you're not mass producing it's not bad on $$$$.
