I know the subject probably threw everyone off..lol.
I have been asked to make a card for a friend at work, she wants the card to says, "I've got the *hots* for you"..probably on the inside. I was thinking of either doing a shaker card, with red hots inside of the window, or using red paper, with crystal effects to make it look like red hots and then having them on the front of the card. anyone have any suggestions of which would look better or work better? Any other suggestions I could do instead, with the same message on the inside?
Thanks!

I would worry about moisture getting to the red hots candy and then smearing the red everywhere. What about "heart" confetti? Maybe some "XOXO" confetti? Might be quicker than CE'ing a bunch of paper and waiting for it to dry.
Hmm..I don't have any of those things. I wanted to make it tonight to give tomorrow. If it helps, it is not going to be going through the mail. I planned on trying my first shaker card with it, using fun foam to pop it up? I thought I read this somewhere. I would have no idea what to put on the window, or the background.
The inside will say,
"I have the *hots* for you."

I agree about the red hots getting moisture and smearing. Why not make an envelope type card containing a cello bag filled with red hots. That way they get the idea but the red hots can actually be eaten if they would like but it still apprears to be a card. Just an idea.
After talking with my mom a bit and telling her what I wanted she suggested a pocket card, with a window cut out of the front to show the red hots. Here is the link to what the card looks like done: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
