how do I join this fun thread. I have lots of goodies.

The first post has the rules, which read (in part):

"If you see something you like, you can claim it according to the guidelines of the person who is offering it (usually on a first-come basis). Some time in the near future, it is expected that you will offer something to Pay It Forward. ..."

I hope you find that helpful. Welcome aboard! This is a fun place to spend time!

Happy Crafting!

It would be wonderful to hear what you have to offer . . .

I do not want to make a blanket request on the offchance that I may already have an item when someone else might not have the particular item.

It's very sweet of you to offer your goodies and, for that, I thank you.

welcome! :)
you have offered very generously, and it is appreciated!
if you have time to put together a list that you'd like to pass along, that would be great, and it might be easier than being bombarded in private messages. ;)

smileyj 09-22-2015 06:58 PM

Bee Happy- Welcome! I agree with Amber. it would be easier for all if you would make a list. I know that I am interested in new things. However, I would rather chose a set I will really use often. Thanks

I agree. It would be great if you could post a list so that people can see what's up for grabs and get something that they have been "longing" for. It would be great to see multiple people get something that they might have been looking for. Thanks for the generous offer that you posted on this thread.

Bahb 09-23-2015 11:39 AM

Welcome Bee Happy. Would you by any chance have a die for a pine cone that would fit well on the Ornamental Pine set? I'm really surprised SU doesn't offer one for that set because the set really does need something to add dimension to images that are so common-though-iconic. Adding glitter , which is what everyone else seems to do, makes the project too messy for my tiny craft space.

I would gladly buy such a die, by the way. But also enjoyed paying it Forward a few years ago, when I had more time.

contrapat 09-23-2015 11:50 AM

How generous!

Nice to see you here- it's a fun thread. Usually, people offer a few things, and then others claim what they'd like, rather than just a bulk offer, and somebody taking everything you've got. But however you want to offer, it's your choice, as there are no complicated listing/next up/mandatory colors for posts, etc. All of us are just passing on stuff in the hopes that somebody can use/appreciate it. Welcome!!!

beehappy 09-23-2015 12:01 PM

good idea. I'll get a list together. I feel very welcomed into your group. Mahalo.

Hawaiian 09-25-2015 02:40 PM

Scrapjanny 09-30-2015 06:45 AM

Welcome, Bee Happy! I started this thread (actually, I believe this is the third thread) a few years ago, and it's still going strong. The people here are very kind and generous.

I have a bag of punched/die cut shapes that I would like to offer. I would really like to send it to someone who hasn't claimed anything recently, because I'd like to give everyone a chance. Sometimes people miss out because they aren't on the boards as much as others. Please PM me if you haven't claimed anything recently and would like this bag of goodies. (U.S. only, please.)

Just a gentle reminder that, if you are claiming PIFs, it is expected that you offer something in the near future to "Pay It Forward" to someone else. Thanks!

Hawaiian 09-30-2015 11:56 PM

Aloha & Mahalo Ms. Chris :)

ozarkstamper 10-02-2015 07:59 AM

Beehappy, if you have any stamps or related items with a honeybee theme in your give-away pile, I would be interested in those, as my husband and I began a new venture into beekeeping. Thank you in advance.

beehappy 10-03-2015 11:41 AM

oh ozarkstamper, I collect bee stamps and cards too. my last name is Bee so people tend to send me bee cards etc. which I love and never give away. my room is decorated with bee cards. I did the post office yesterday and I've sent out 2 small boxes, 3 large boxes and 1 very very large box. I'm sure this is not the last time I will be giving away some things I just had to have but never used. :( I will keep you in mind for my next giveaway. please pm me your address. thank you

but our winters are FAR milder than Michigan or Wisconson!! ;)

contrapat 10-04-2015 07:43 AM

I actually MISS snow. I don't much like shoveling it, but I miss waking up to that muffled silence, and looking out on a world blanketed in white.

(I lived on a main road, 2 miles down the road from the county road maintenance yard- we were always plowed immediately- so not much issue with being able to get moving)

I will concede that the growing season is better here for my vegetable garden, except when it gets too darned hot for the tomatoes to do anything, and they just sit there.

I have to agree with you there. I do miss snow. I remember winters growing up with far more snow than we've gotten lately. They are predicting this to be a cold winter, but I do wonder if that means more snow? I HATE the ice that we get before the snow.. blech. Snow is easy to drive on, but that ice sure isn't.

I heard this year wasn't great for tomatoes. Wasn't great for much any garden, too much rain. Weather sure is weird isn't it?

Arlene_C 10-04-2015 11:04 AM

I am looking forward to this winter. After being in Arizona for 6 years, I really miss the cold blasts and possibility of snow!

I also dislike ice storms, although they make GREAT photo opportunities! I have some terrific ice pictures, like the one of blades of grass encased in ice that I laid down with my face on the lawn to take.

This year was total CR*P for tomatoes!!! I planted a yellow pear tomato, which usually takes over the yard, producing hundreds of little tomatoes. It croaked.
I planted a couple of heirloom tomatoes- maybe got a half dozen off those.
I planted a Lemon Boy- got maybe a dozen off that in two spurts, and they were very small.
I planted 2 Heinz tomatoes, and they did the best of the bunch, but the tomatoes were also stunted, and not plentiful.
I managed to can 4 pints. I'm used to getting a couple dozen quarts from my tomatoes.

The thing that did the best in my garden this year? Chiggers. Almost every time DH or I went outside, when we came in, we had a new crop of ugly itchy nasty chigger bites. Tried EVERYTHING to relieve the itch- best was a prescription steroid cream I had around the house from some other itch problem. I HATE CHIGGER BITES! Apparently, the wet suited them- we've never had a problem before in 11 years here.

trust me though we are known as paradise and I would never trade my native home for no where else in the whole world. Being a little spot in the middle of the ocean has it's shares of aw oh's. tsunamis and the many bouts of hurricanes passing by and even through. we just had 1 after another been on warning for weeks on end. it's not just sunny Hawaii but with that came the worst humidity . I felt I should have been called Olof!!! I melted so many times over the weeks I wished it rained. don't get me wrong rain it did and you would think my prayers were answered lol well it only if at all possible made it even worst. felt like I was sitting on the peaks of our volcanos it got even more hot! and how I wish we would have the noticeable changing of seasons as many of you do. the snow falling , the colored leaves .etc. seasons here are pretty much the same hot and hotter lol expensive cost of living high electric bills. your kids get snow days while our kids sit in classrooms with no air cons fans are having to be donated from the already overly worked and under paid parents and big hearted people like DebBEE while our kids keep getting passed by our DOE and government cuts of everything that matters. this is the reason I count myself very bless to be amoung the biggest hearted SISTERS in the world and you don't wear them big black hats that looks like you can fly if you all know what I mean lol how I wish it would snow but I don't think i'de want to live shoveling it or get my face bitten by frost or my fingers . i'm happy with doing the "biteing" of my shaved ice and the surrounding beautiful oceans and its majestic offerings So though there are times I wish for this and that I would never trade my native home. I not just mahalo you beautiful ladies for allowing me to be a part of the best sisterhood there is but for putting life back into perspective of how luck I live HAWAII!! Mahalo Nui Loa!! And about growing things. I feel really bad for our farmers of late with what I call a blessing (rain) it has sure put a lot of our local farmers out of business. So I guess with everything someone pays and that is what makes this thread so special. those who can gives and those who can't are very loved and welcomed/ So once again Sisters if no 1 has told you how "VERY SPECIAL" each and everyone of you are. i'm taking the time to send each and everyone a big huge and Smooches to all of you!!!

smileyj 10-04-2015 03:08 PM

I have only lived in Minnesota. I love watching the 4 seasons. Right now watching the leaves change colors is amazingly beautiful. Soon it will be getting cooler. I do love the cold. Now so much the snow! Summer is my least favorite. I just don't like to sweat.

sek111sbc 10-04-2015 04:19 PM

my favorite season is spring...I love the smell of the dirt...
