Hi, I am working out a sale for like it a latte, and I cannot for the life of me find what the original price was. I've done a search, but I'm only coming up with BST posts. Please help..
Yeah, you'd think they'd adjust it a little bit. I know it's a market thing, and it all could change, but I think a little adjustment is fair for sure.

I believe the catties are produced several months in advance so probably the price difference wouldn't be seen in this cattie. Having said that - SU could send out an update of prices with the cattie or following the cattie. But highly unlikely.
I was at a friend's house the other day and she sells "Home Interiors", she had written in her books a few price changes due to the $ situation, so that company is doing something about it.
They are making some big coin on us Canadians!!!!

Sorry, I did not mean to hijack the thread. It just amazes me the price differences. Even to ship something to Canada is getting expensive. Are they trying to make up the difference?
I am beginning to think everything in Canada cost more. I loved it there but the prices!! I stayed at the Pacific and breakfast was $29 something for one person. I think the reason SU is higher priced there, is because you make higher wages. The guy that moved our luggage made 17.00 and hour. Wish i had his job when i was younger.
There have been some comments on ebay about shipping/duty/fees to Canada. Between the three, it can be as much as 40%-60% of the cost of the items!!!! UPS has a terrible surcharge to ship up there. I wouldn't blame it all on the exchange rate (which now is close to even).
Ooops!! Look what I started!! Lol!!
There was a very active thread a while back from a Canadian (I don't remember who) suggesting that we all write to SU and request answers for the HUGE difference. I was one of the people that did e-mail. I very politely asked for an explanation so I could sleep better at night knowing my favorite rubber stamp company wasn't rippin' me off!!! (I'm not a demo just a VERY good customer) They responded with a letter stating that their prices were fair market value...blah, blah, blah! I don't mean that in a rude way, I just don't remember everything the letter said!! Anyhoo, I would be surprised if the prices did go down, but it has happened before!! (06/07 Catty had lower prices than 05/06)
I can understand shipping costs being high, maybe. I can understand wages in Canada being higher therefore prices in Canada have to reflect that. It was always explained to us that our dollar was to low. It would just be nice to have it explain as to why prices can not be a bit lower now that we are at par.
