I'm crazy for that ginger blossom paper and the Embrace Life and Celebrate Everything!

Yea! Thanks for posting. It takes so little to make me happy.
Textured CS is already available in 12 x 12 color family packs - $11.95 in the US.....just an FYI. I'm actually more interested in this preview than the last one. The current catty doesn't wow me, so I'm really looking forward to this new one.

I love that paper to, so pretty. A new catty always makes me happy, I live for the new SU Catty, sad but true.

The textured cardstock is available in color family assortments now - in the 12 x 12 size.

Were you thinking that maybe this means it will also be available in the 8.5 x 11 size too?

If you're going to complain you are better off doing it in writing so there is a hard copy of it. So a letter or an email would be better.

Why not all three, e-mail, phone and snail mail.

For me I just really disappointed, as I said I will always buy their paper, it's the best.

I have written. They just gave me the answer that it is the cost of doing business in Canada. I asked if they could explain that cost (detail it) and I had no reply. I do not mind calling but I believe the only way is to just stop buying SU. I agree with Cindy I will always buy their paper and ink but I rather support my local scrapbook store.

Just to be clear though, my understanding is that the stuff from this current catalogue will still be available, just not all shown, right? Retirement of sets and embellishments in July as usual? Or has that changed? So, for instance, if there is something I still am waiting to order from the current catalogue I have until next summer, not this December, right?

Did you really think they would? If you asked Michael's to explain in detail the cost difference between pricing at their stores in Canada versus the US (cause they gouge us Canadians BADLY!!! Those little tins that Beate used to make her advent calendar are $19.99 in the States, in Canada at M's they are $29.99.) and to explain in detail the differences in running their business in Canada vs. the States, I'm betting they would not reply either. Nor, I bet, would ANY retailer be willing to provide that info to you. It would simply be bad business practices.

There will be a retirement list out for December 1st from this catty. So those sets will be gone as of January 1st. There will also be some accessories retiring from this catty, I *think* that list comes out around December 10th? I'd have to look it up to be sure.

The In Colors will stay the same, but some of the accessories for them will be retired.

So take a look at the retiring list on December 1st and see if any of your 'must haves' are on there.

There will be a retirement list and a dormant list. You will be able to order off the dormant list till July (when the dormant stuff may or may not come back into the fall 08 catty) but the retired list will retire Jan 1.

I feel bad for the Canadian's, It's not fair!

The cost shouldn't be that much different. But is.

I really love these Stamp set: "A Beautiful Thing" And the Ginger Blosson DP is very pretty too.

I have them on my wishlist. Can't wait to see just what else SU has in their New catalog.

Guess I'll just spend my money on punches and cardstock. I didn't see very many sets that inspire me. I liked that brush art of the new fisherman and was hoping to see more of that. Bummer about the Canadian pricing. Sounds like you guys need to jump over the border to shop.
