Question postcard making -help needed

Hello everyone,
I'm very interested in making postcards, but have a few questions.
I know the size is 4 x 6, but my question is the postcard just generally cardstock or can i use cardstock and then a patterned paper over it then stamp etc. I know i can't use embelishments on a postcard.
Also, on the back, does anyone carry a stamp for the back of the postcard or can i just maybe download one? think i may prefer a full size stamp, i'm not great at using the computer for lining them up, but maybe could just print out the template on white cardstock and work around that. Ahhhh, please help. or links maybe to tutorials?

Here's my idea, i am thinking of making the postcards with greyhound themes, on it, then putting the postage on the postcards and bundling them maybe 6 and selling them to make money for the greyhound rescue at they're reunion event. Figuring that postcards ready with postage are a quick way for people just to say hi and keep in touch. Does this make sense? what are your thoughts?
thank you so much for your help.

Here are some templetates I found. I print them on white cardstock, use on layer of DP and one or two stamped images/sentiments. I have not tried mailing them by themselves but use a clear envelope.

Hope this helps!
