I took a look at your gallery, Robin. Are these frames the clear acrylic stand-up types? And is the card inserted in the back where the picture normally would be put and the post-its put on the front of the frame? Oh, yah, how do you adhere the post-its?
For those of you who have made the post-it holders with acrylic frames, where do you recomment I look for the frames--dollar store? Walmart? Michael's? I'm shopping-averse and end up getting in and out as fast as I can without browsing, so I am aware of the frames but have never seen them in a store.

btw - great post-its!
Thanks Rita!
Yes , they are the acrylic stand-up frames. I purchase mine from Walmart as that is the cheapest I've found...4x6 for 96 cents and the 3.5x5 for 86 cents.
The card is inserted where the photo would normally go.
I remove the last sheet on the Post-it, add a little more mono-adhesive and then attach it to the front of the frame.
Below is a side view...

I don't know if they have any left, but if you have a Big Lots, I found the 3x5 frames for .29 a piece. I wish I would have bought more. Think I might go back and check.

I love these! I did these at a stamp camp a couple of months ago and the ladies were THRILLED! I was going to use Stazon to stamp right on the frame as I had seen here on SCS, but I thought it would be much better to stamp an insert and tell them they can change it for the seasons, etc.
I buy my frames at Walmart. They are anywhere from $0.76 - $0.96
Have fun with them. I plan to do these for Christmas gifts, especially since I have two kids in middle school now and they each have multiple teachers. These are very inexpensive when you are in that situation.
Great side view pic, thanks!!! Also, have you ever attached a pen to these? I was thinking maybe a beaded RSVP pen. But wasn't too sure how I would attach it. I guess it could lay on top of the post its. Do you include instructions on how someone would replace the post its once used up?
Just a word of caution...be sure to purchase frames that stand horizontally and not vertically. My Wal-Mart only had vertical frames and they seem to give in the center because of less support. I did make one for my daughter's student teacher...with brown and pink "Simply Circles." Any one else addicted to the retro look or is it just me?

Wow you woman here think of everything. I have learned more from lurking on these boards than anything. This is a great idea. My DH probably isn't the happiest. In the last few days I have purchased every color sharpie there is - Tiles - Future floor Wax - Micro beads - RSVP pens - LOL now im gonna be getting some of these frames.
