I just ordered this really cute stamp set from marthastewartcrafts.com. It was on their sale page for $2.97 plus shipping (which was kinda high). And you can pay with Paypal, which to me is a plus.
I am not sure how old this stamp set is or how far behind the times I am, you all may already have it. But I thought I would show it to the ones who don't have it and may be interested. I have been enabled by this board, now is my chance to be the enabler .
I checked my order and the status says backordered :(.
I am not sure if I will be receiving the item or not. I paid for this item thru paypal and the money has already been taken. Does anybody have any experience with marthastewartcrafts.com? How should I handle getting a refund?
I have emailed customer service already, but haven't received an answer yet.
I almost positive I have seen this set in M's this season. of course not for the same money you were able to buy it for. Hope you are able to get it, what a great price!!!

Super price, but then you said the shipping was pricey. Hopefully you came out ahead. I saw a gingerbread house set of hers (w/gumdrops and peppermints) @ M's this week that I'd love to have. Think I should check out her site for that one?
Well the shipping for that item was $7.95, which was more than I would have like to have paid for an item that was on sale at such a great price. If you read my previous post you saw that I may not be getting the item at all because it is backordered.
I purchased that gingerbread set with the gumdrops and candies at Wal-Mart this past weekend, it is super cute.
I went back to the website to check my account status again and my whole account is gone. I tried calling customer service and they couldn't help me because I didn't have an order number, because I never got a confirmation email. They gave me yet another email address for customer service, this makes 3 that I have tried.
Is it possible that I got scammed by the marthastewartcrafts site?
Does anyone else have any experience with this site? If they don't answer can I file a paypal dispute over this?
Edited to say: I just received an automated response to say that they received my email. At least that is a step in the right direction, I never received anything at all from them before. Maybe I will get this straighted out.
As someone mentioned earlier, this stamp set is currently available at Walmart for $8.97. Might be easier to pick it up there than mess with backorders and postage issues. Good luck finding it!
Here is my update after all the trouble I went to to reach someone in customer service and everything I went thru, I finally got my package which contained
THE WRONG STAMP SET grrrrrrrrrrr
I finally got a reply from cust. service telling me that I made a mistake in my login details, which is why I didn't get my confirmation email and replies.
This has been such a mess. I am waiting to find out whether or not the stamp set I received was because the other was sold out or a mistake from the shipping department. I will update this thread when or IF I hear from cust. service again.
Like a few others have said... They have this set and 3 or 4 others at Walmart for $8.97 along with 2 12x12 designer paper packs to coordinate with the stamp sets. I also picked up a new set at Michael's that had a set of stamps that matched the new deer punch and lots of other of her punches in it. The kit came with 3 glitter tubes, glue pad and glue refill as well.
