Hey Everybody!
Isn't it amazing how time flies. It's now time to sign up for our next get-together and farewell to Rebecca/Sparklinbecks before she returns to Arizona.
Here are the details:
MONDAY, FEBRUARY 7
6-9 PM
Alicia's House in Milwaukie (PM for directions)
Please RSVP no later than January 31st so we know how many to count on. Everyone is welcome, no matter how new or old you are to stamping!!
Tons of fun!!
We will be doing a card swap as well as a shoebox swap, so get busy with your projects!! No theme, just your favorites.....
Final Checklist:
1. Bring your card swaps (full cards, or card fronts) Any theme!
2. Bring your Shoebox Swap with your sample and supplies all cut and ready to go for each attendee. You won't make your own, but you will have your original sample to keep. Make sure you include everything to make your awesome swap! (CAN'T WAIT to see what you bring!!!)
3. Bring your own scissors and adhesive and stamp cleaner.
4. Be sure to mark all of your supplies, just in case.
5. Most of all, get ready to have a *WONDERFUL* evening, stamping, socializing and having TONS of fun!!
6. PM me if you need directions
7. Reply to this thread with what you are bringing for a snack, so there are not a ton of duplicates.
FOOD
1.Alicia: Bottled Water, Peanut M&M's, Paper Plates, Napkins, Cups, etc.
2.Lynne: Hor D'ourves, meat/cheese.......YUM!!!
3.Rebecca: Cheesecake....be still my heart!
4.Carrie: Chips and Ranch Dip....perfect!
5.Lastel: Chips and Salsa Dip.....By request, PLEASE??
6.Sharon: Cookies.........a personal favorite!
7.Aubrey: Coke........the DRINKABLE kind! :lol:

Oh man guys. I am so so so bummed that I can't go, :( being that it is on a Monday I can't get off work early enough. Well I hope you all have a great time. I know that I'll be able to make it sooner or later. Have fun. Don't forget to post some pictures.

Not to be a thread stealer, but... for those of you who do daycare or have little ones in daycare, what is the going rate?
I have a 4 year old who i would need care for 10 hours a day and a 7 year old that I would need before and after school care. The job hours, if i get it, are 8am to 5pm. How much should i expect to be charged?

Hi Aubrey,
I charge $175 per week. That includes all meals, even dinner if traffic holds the parents up. But from what my parents have told me I am on the inexpensive side. So your best bet is to search around. Just remember just because the daycare is higher in price does not always mean that it is a better place to go.

I was jazzed about the first shoebox........and many butterflies wondering if my project would be a hit. Im not a demon-strator either so I was really worried. There was only one problem.....the night had to end. I heard horror stories about how people treated your products.... but not this group. It was nice knowing what you brought wouldnt be ruined. I am even more jazzed about this time. Seeing everyone again and seeing new faces. This time we are swapping cards. My swapping cards will be all different...........so bringing the camera again is a must.
Eggs will be on the platter and a simplier project than from last time.
Yes the butterflies are getting ready to hatch again..... they always do.

I wish I could get up that direction to meet all of you. I also do childcare and I work till 8:30 on Mondays so I know I won't be able to make it. Maybe someday.
