Excellent poll Sheryl! I'm already set to start planning the next one, and I haven't even unpacked from this one yet!
I like the Comfort Inn in Lansing, as it was a nice facility and the staff there was so nice to work with, but I'm up for whatever works for everyone else!

I've been to Michigan before, and I loved it!!! Hmm, maybe I need to go visit BIL again in the fall! 
He lives in Gaylord, how far is that from Lansing? |

Would like to attend next time!
I wasn't there this time but would love to next time. Living on the west side of the state, I'd really appreciate the central location of Lansing. I probably wouldn't be able to make it if you end on in the Detroit or east side of the state.

OMG, I can't believe you're planning the next one already. Thinking about, yes, planning, no! I liked the location we were at but I ended up spending more than I should have for a weekend like that. If we do it again I think I need to get more roommates! And we need to get some more people to come so we can maybe lower the price a little bit. Or maybe have each person bring a pack or a half pack of cardstock to donate for the challenges. Or bring a doorprize to donate. Or something like that.

When are u all planning the next get together for?
I'll be there the end of July, and would love to meet some or ALL of you for that matter ....
If its not going to be when im there I'll be traveling thru lansing to go to Battle Creek so if any of u live along the way and would like to meet up let me know. Basically ill be all over the state tho because ill be staying in flint and within an hr of there. My plan is to spend 2 weeks in michigan this yr so I have enough time to do all the things I would like (its been 2 yrs sence ive been back to see my family and friends). __________________ ~*~Jessica~*~

I live in Midland....kinda in the middle of the state....so, I can be 'somewhere' within a couple hour trip.
MamaK....IF the next get-together is in Lansing....you would have a good 4.5 to 5 hour drive from Gaylord. BUT, since I don't mind 'road trips'....I'd come up to Gaylord the night before....and I'd take ya to the get-together!!.....no matter where it is...ok??  Start planning!! |

I wasn't able to come due to hubby's crazy schedule, but it should be calm again.... I like the Lansing location, my baby brother is at State and lives there, so I would even get to see him (briefly LOL). I like how central it is, and am really looking forward to coming. I'm so glad you're having another one!  __________________

Except that I grew up really close to Ann Arbor & U of M, and, being the baby he has to be different! LOL I'd still love to visit him and stamp with you all in the same trip!  __________________

Is this only for Michiganites (don't know what the real term is!)? I'm moving to Toledo in a couple of weeks and Lansing is only a couple hours away. I'd love to come!!!

would love to come next time but would need at least a months heads up to get weekend off from work (yuk). lansing being in the middle of the state really works well for the LP michiganders. mama k i don't think gaylords that far from lansing especially if you drive like mich drivers lol
