Default Pink Pirouette

I would love some feedback on this color. I haven't bought any of the in colors but I'm really tempted by this color. I don't care for Pretty In Pink and would love a softer pink. Any feedback would be appreciated.

This PP is softer and lighter than Pretty in Pink and I just love it! It is now my *go to* soft pink...

It is a very nice color. I really like Tangerine Tango and Riding Hood Red as well.

I only have the paper and it is a nice shade of pink. I like it better than pretty in pink, but I doubt that I will get the ink pad. It is retiring in 6 months and I don't really want to stock up on papers. (I have no room as it is)

I love the reinker/inkpad, because the color is lighter than pretty in pink. They complement each other nicely. I use the blender pen with the reinker as a marker. I like the paper too, but seem to use the ink more.

I think it is a "clearer" pink. I always think Pretty in Pink looks a little muddy. I love Pink Piroutte.

Oh my goodness! I love, love, love this color. I wish is would become a permanent color. It is the perfect shade of pink and is fab with the Riding Hood Red. I was so stressed it would go away with the new catalog just
being release and did a dance of joy when it stayed. You can't go wrong with this one!

Pink Pirouette is a wonderful pink! It seems to go with alot of DP's that are out right now. You should definitely get at least one pack!

I'm typically not a pink fan, but this is my favorite shade of pink with SU! I especially like it paired with chocolate chip.

I like the hue, I agree it's a clearer pink. But I wish it were a little more "there". It's a little too pale for me.

The first thing I do when new In-Colors come out is buy the Assorted cardstock pack. It's not that much $$, and I get to see which colors I LOVE and which ones to order ink and reinkers for!

You hit the nail on the head with that description. I love the color and it is also my go to color for a soft pink.

I love the color!!

I personally don't like the idea of in colors that retire and we won't be able to match ribbon and designer paper again after the year is up. BUT I just placed an order w/my demo and got the pink pirouette paper and ink refill. I'm going to use some blank spots I picked up somewhere for an ink pad...

So I agree that it is a great color!

Gotta throw my lot in too and say that I love it. I'm not usually a big fan of pink, but this one is great with so many accent colors. I use it a lot with Choc. Chip, Kiwi Kiss(another In Color that gets a big thumbs up from me), , Ridign Hood Red Old Olive and Kraft. I like it so much better than Pretty in Pink and will be really sad when it retires at the end of this summer.

I wish they'd do sort of a "dormant list" for the in-colors.....let us still be able to order them, but don't spotlight them. What do you think?

I also agree with the others, I love this color and I plan on getting at least two packages before it retires so that I have plenty on hand. It is so nice with so many other colors and my girls really like the color.

I wish they would get rid of some of the old colors and give us back soft sky and river rock and keep pink pirouette and kiwi kiss!!!Some of those old ones just need to go. I hardly ever use pink passion or pixie pink. I could live without glorious green or bordering blue or ballet blue. If these *in *colors are out, some of these old colors are really old. KWIM??

I bought just the cs in pink pirouette. Love the color, just a beautiful shade of baby doll pink. Don't intend to get the stamp pad though. If you stamp off Pretty in pink, it is so close that no one would really know the difference unless they put them next to each other and I already have PIP.

Love the idea of the dormant list of colors. Stampin' Up are you listening?

Thank you so much to all of your for your input! I have been debating because I'm on such a tight budget but with the unanimous reponses I know I won't regret it. Whenever I'm looking for a pink shade I get so frustrated because Pretty In Pink to me isn't a very pretty pink (echoed by a few of you) . I like Pixie Pink and Pink Passion but they are usually too bold for what I'm looking for. After hearing all your responses I think this color will be perfect and I do have a gift certificate for Christmas that I need to use.

I think they should drop Pretty In Pink like they did Bliss Blue and replace it with Pink Piroutte.

Pink Pirouette is the color I've been asking for and will miss it greatly when it retires. I wouldn't let the fact that it will retire eventually deter you from buying it. It is such a great color that it compliments and coordinates with so many colors- you will never run out of uses for it! I recommend buying the ink and refill, and a few packs of paper in Pink Pirouette for continued enjoyment!

Now that I have been using it, Pretty In Pink sits as it is just to dark for pink now. I LOVE Pink Piroutte and wish they would keep it as well.
And bring back River Rock.

LETS ALL SEND EMAILS TO SU TO KEEP THIS COLOR

LOVE IT! They need to replace pretty in pink with this color. I am NOT a pink person, but I absolutely love this color. The ink is very light, so I have the pretty in pink ink on my list just incase I need a darker shade. That is ink only though, I never use the pretty in pink paper. The Pink Pir. is REALLY pretty with the Close to Cocoa. Also a fan of the Kiwi kiss, and RR red is OK too, very close to the other reds though. The other 3 in colors I could do without. The light blue is too muddy for me, and the other two are just too bright. Wasn't a big fan like I was of the last set of In Colors.
