Default Photo Editing

Can you recommend an EASY photo editing program? I'm not very techy but the photo editing I am currently using is somewhat limited. Inexpensive would be a plus! Thanks to anyone that can help!

Claudia...I use Corel Paint Shop Pro X4 (not the most recent version). It is available at Walmart for a really great price:

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Corel-Pai...69&athena=true
OR
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Corel-Pai...FcW3wAodnd0L-w

The first link is for PSP X4, like I have, and the second is for PSP X9, which is current.

I've used it (and its predecessors) for a bazillion years. It is easy to use...and if you decide to get it and want some walk-through on such things as lightening up a dark picture, or putting in watermarks, or cropping pictures, I'd be glad to help you out over the phone.

What do you want it to do?

My favorite program is FREE (for Windows). IrfanView can auto adjust colors, crop, resize, rotate, custom rotate, change to different image formats (.jpg, .bmp, .png, etc.) and more.

It looks like there's been an update. I'll attach a screen shot.

GIMP is another free program that is fairly easy to use.

This is what I use as well - I have the most recent version currently, but I've used it for years.

Many thanks, Ladies! I am trying to figure out this PicMonkey program I downloaded for a free trial. It has lots of tutorials and seems pretty straightforward, but despite several hours I've still not been able to get what I need to do accomplished.
Diane and Dina, you are both so kind. I will reach out if I can't figure this out.

Claudia, I have a photo editor that came with my Canon camera, called zoomBrowser (?). It let's me crop, adjust the colors, and add text. However, it doesn't save the watermark. For school purposes I have used gimp (free download) and the more I use it the more I like it. Another one that Cheryl mentioned and I was going to look at was BeFunky.

I've been using GIMP for years and highly recommend it. Very easy to use and you can do a lot that you would pay for with other programs.

Amy, zoomBrowser is exactly what I've been using, which came with my Canon. Mine may be an older version though, because it doesn't allow me to add text.

Claudia, mine is a good ten years old. On mine to add text, select your picture, then select the edit option. Then select insert text. After that, I had to pick the font, size & color I wanted my text. For a watermark, I had to do two text boxes because I wanted to change the font and size. It does not save it to be used on another picture. Which can be frustrating. You can also edit your picture in zoomBrowser and then edit with an external image editor (I used gimp) to add a watermark or text. This is how I did text on pictures for my school bulletin board.

What are you trying to do? I have been using PicMonkey for a few weeks so, not an expert but I have used it almost daily since getting it. I might be able to answer your questions. I got the Basic package for $72 annually and I LOVE it!! It is SO fun and it's amazing what it can do! I am looking for more reasons to create graphics on it!
