Default Petal Prints - ?? about mounting

I just received the gorgeous Petal Prints set, and got to wondering about something before I mounted all of the stamps. The daisy-looking flowers with the stem - has anyone trimmed and mounted them so that the stem is separated from the bloom? Then would the stems be in proportion and "look right" to use with the round flowers?

What do y'all think? Thanks in advance.

I didn't even think to do this but I bet it would work.

I would like to know others opinions on mounting this set too. I just got it and was also questioning whether or not to cut the leaves into three separate stamps and mount them on different sides of the wood?

I did mount the flower and the stem separately and have used the stem with the round daisy-like flower. I do like the stem better with the flower it came with though! I also cut the leaves apart so that I have 2 sets on one block and a 3rd set on another wood block. I thought there might be times when I just wanted one set of leaves vs. all three, and thought this approach would work better. I bought extra wood blocks at one point (I think from http://www.socsblocks.homestead.com) of various sizes so that I can mount my SU! stamps the way I will use them--which does not always match how the company designs them to be used!!!
