Oh Jeri, That is just Gorgeous!!! I LOVE your card! I like how you inset it inside the scallop opening!
I made a couple earlier, but they didn't turn out near as pretty as both of those!
So happy you shared it! I love seeing everyone's cards!

Hey Sis Chris If I'm not mistaken the Tulle scrap I used here was from you years ago or at least a year . I'm sure it was gifted from you . Which wasn't a PIF but was a additional to something you did offer . Just wanted to say Mahalos Fairy Much Sis ! And this is what became of it !!

Oh wow! That is beautiful also! Are you sure it was from me? I didn't remember having it that long. Although, I don't have the best memory. Here are a couple I made.

So glad you shared it!

Hi Chris,
Oooh, I got my tulle in the mail today and it is so pretty! I'm going to have so much fun playing with both colors and will even use the cardstock that you used to keep it from wrinkling. Thank you so much for your generous PIF!

Wow!! These samples with the tulle are so beautiful and I can't believe I've never even heard of using tulle for a shaker card before. Definitely on my next project list!

Sorry Joan! I hope you get some mojo back soon. I have to take long breaks, as I do good to get the house cleaned. I'm decluttering and organizing some now, which is not the same as cleaning, so there's that. lol.. But I want to make it easier to clean or at least give the allusion of clean. It's amazing what you can accumulate after being in one home for a long time, and sometimes I keep the stupidest things. I keep thinking I can find a use for something or I will need it one day. I don't want to turn into a hoarder, and I need to make it lots easier to clean and find things. Plus, when I have periods of feeling a little better, I have to take advantage of it to catch up. Anyway, I hope you feel inspired soon, and enjoy some crafty time!
I got a nice surprise in the mail yesterday from a fellow crafter. It really put a smile on my face!
Blessings to all of you! Hope you have a happy day!

I have a few things to pass on to anybody who wants them. Disclaimer - I haven't been on this site for about two years, so I kind of forget how this works. I know someone can claim the items and I pay for postage, but does the person PM me their address? Also, since I've been out of the stamping game for a while, this stuff is kind of old. Here goes:

Great Impressions wood mounted stamp says:
From one friend to another... Have a very Merry Christmas

Stampin up (one stamp):
have a holly jolly Christmas

Unknown: small stamps that say
family and friends
FALL (with leaves)

Stampin Up from 2007:
Merry (wood mounted)

Gina K:
Back to school (red cling rubber, not mounted)

Fun Stampers Journey:
Pool Party

Stampin Up from 2003:
Little Hellos

Stampin Up from 1997:
Holiday Borders

I found one more. Anyone want wood mounted SU Occasionally? It's purple nrubber, so it was probably a give away at some point. Duh, just looked at the sticker - it's from 2004.

Yes, you've got it right! As for the stamps being old...that isn't a problem at all! Some of the old favorites never go out of style..and are perfect for PIF's.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
I have a flat rate priority envelope filled with misc. embellishments and some SU DSP 6x6 pieces left from a paper share. There are brads of all types, buttons of boots & cowboy hats, fibers, thick baker's twine left from a Paper Pumpkin, 4 rolls of washi tapes, little metal charms of angels, cherries, teapots & fruit; Christmas buttons, jingle bells. etc.

I am sending this to one person - it is too costly to divide it up and mail to multiple addresses. First person to PM address... Sorry, but I can only ship in the US.

Karen has claimed the envelope of embellishments. I have more stuff to give away, but I have to mail off the grandkids' Christmas gifts and that will probably break the bank.

Hi, guys! Arlene, good idea bumping the thread. I noticed it and it reminded me that I should gather up some stuff to pass on.

Vicki, it was so nice meeting you in real life last month!!! Next time we'll have to do some card making, huh!

I haven't checked in here for quite awhile, so don't know if Vicki already mentioned this. But, I went to Oahu last month for a short visit with Mom. While I was there I went through Mom's stuff and helped her downsize a bit. What made it so easy was knowing I could pass stuff on to Vicki. I don't know about you folks, but I think it makes destashing so, soooo much easier (and even fun) when you know it will be going to somewhere it will be used and/or enjoyed. So, thanks Vicki!

I'm surprised that you two didn't meet when Pam lived closer. You both look great! Love the thought of shorts! We had a freeze on Halloween and light snow and below freezing since then. Our highs are now 60 if we're lucky! Today's high was 42.

So glad to see this thread is back. I wonder if they need to make a near one beginning of next year? I am glad it is back though, because I love chatting and keeping in touch with you all on it!
Great picture of all of you! Love those smiles!
Hoping I will get time in the near future to go through my craft room and share some things. I have got to pare down; it has affected my ability to create anything. I will just probably make two or three large envelopes to share, as that would the easiest and most cost effective way to share. I can't afford to do a bunch of individual mailings.

It has definitely become cost prohibitive to do multiple small mailings. I think, in the future, when I do list items for PIF, I will be going the same route as far as making larger envelopes.

It has become so unfortunate that certain things you can't even sell anymore because the cost of the shipping is far more expensive than the item itself.

Loved seeing the photo of you two, Pam and Hawaiian! Shorts and bare feet are my style too...but not this winter. Hate it when I have to wear sweatshirts and socks, ha!

I have some items put aside to offer up as PIF's once the holidays are over and things settle down a bit. I'm waaaay behind on my Christmas cards and gift wrapping, ugh.

Well, it looks like I'm not going to be able to PIF like I wanted to. We found out yesterday that my hubby will probably lose his job in February. He's worked there over thirty years. I would be lying if I said I haven't been anxious or worried, but I am trying to stay optimistic and praying for the best. His line is going to be moving to Mexico, because that is the only way they can compete with the cheaply made version from China. I won't get into particulars, but just wanted to explain why I wouldn't be PIFing. I still want to chat with you all and share cards I make with the wonderful PIFs you have sent me, as I do really like you all a bunch, and enjoy chatting with you here. Hope you are all having a great week and will be enjoying Christmas!

Oh Chris, I'm so sorry to hear about this. What a blow that must be for you both after thirty years at his company. I'll be thinking of you and hoping that he finds another position soon..and I really do hope we keep seeing you on the forum. Now is your chance to shop your own stash and craft to keep your mind off worrying. I know that crafting always help me cope with anxieties.

Thank you both so very much! I have been recently trying to cut back andd reduce spending anyway, so i am glad that it will help me adjust since Ive already been doing it. And the thought of using my stash and not accumulating actually makes me happy. At least they gave them advanced notice. One plant in town closed, and they got no warning at all. Just instantly out of a job. So we know to have a frugal Christmas, which spending time with family and the people you love is what its all about anyway. Maybe this is God's way of letting him know it is time to get out of the factory. We will just wait and see how it will all work out. Thank you for caring!
