Jeri- Got the felt flowers in today's mail. Thank you! Dang, they are SO pretty! So now, since they are really too thick to put on a card, I need to come up with a plan for using them. I keep thinking they'd be gorgeous on a headband or hair clip, but I wear my hair short! Anyway, they make me smile, so thank you so much!!!

All that said, I do, at least, tend to share with other crafters when I buy something like 250 sheets of (lovely, beautiful, gorgeous) cs.

My friend and I agreed that if one of us goes first, the other will go through our "stuff" and decide what happens to it because no one else will see the value in it, haha! She and I both have a lot of stamping and scrappping things, and a LOT of fabric!

Kazeka, It is yours! I looked, and I still had your address, so I will get it out to you asap! So happy you can use it! I have one just like it that I was gifted on this site, but haven't gotten a chance to use it yet. Can't wait to use it on a winter card! So glad you will have one to play with also!

Thanks so much. I make Christmas cards all year round (and actually made 2 of them today) so my Christmas stamps, dies and folders never get put away. I don't have anything like this at all but it will go beautifully with some Nordic holiday stamps that I have.

Mine isnt getting used either. I bought it to do charity quilts, but haven't felt well enough to do any in a long time. I just buy it and shove it on the shelves. Lol.

I need to try quilting. God knows, I have enough fabric to waste some learning!

Quilting is what got me in trouble to begin with though. I bought a lot of beautiful 100% cotton quilting fabrics, and then came the rolls of batting, and muslin for backing...and so on and so on. I also made stuffed animals, and American Girl doll clothing for my daughter when she was small. Oh, and wall hangings, pot holders..the whole nine-yards so to say. Then I had problems with my eyesight and all of that stopped. Now I can see well enough, but the sewing motivation has been replaced by paper crafting. Same story with crocheting and knitting...and cross-stitch etc. I think crafters are dabblers by nature and never know when to stop, ha!

I bought mine to make quilts too, but at least I've stopped buying fabrics. It helps that the JoAnns crafts store near me closed, and no one around here sells fabric anymore. I still have enough half-finished sewing projects to keep me busy for years though. Even have a queen-sized quilt that's been pieced, but never finished...and I have the batting in my garage, eek!

Thankfully, I got rid of the majority of my cross-stitching supplies, as I can't see well enough to do that anymore. I do have one of those sets of looms, but I gave most of my yarn to someone who crochets, as I haven't done anything with those in forever. I was working on a sport's yarn wreath, with the little pom poms, but I have to do it outside, as the yarn sheds terribly when you cut it, and gets in the air, and it's hot and my allergies are bad, so I'll just have to work on it later!
I justify keeping my fabric, as I think I'll get back to it one day, and fabric is expensive and not as easy to come by. My friend and I made simple charity quilts to make it faster, but I just don't have the energy to get back to it yet.
Hoping I will one day soon.
Here's an example of the style quilt we sewed. Had to keep it simple to make it easier to sew.

Here's a link to my older blog; I haven't posted on it in forever!!!

Yeah, I've slowed WAY down on buying fabric (seems I spend WAY more these days on stamping supplies- as if I needed any more, lol!). Since Hancock Fabric closed, I'm not as tempted anymore. I used to just go in to peruse, and naturally come out the door with more fabric! If I can persuade DH to buy me a serger, I might do some clothes sewing. I'm spoiled in my old age- I want finished inner seams.

I try not to shop for craft things at all unless I have a specific project. My girls have school projects that they're always working on so that's temptation enough.

Thank you Shartl!
Guess what I bought at the Walmart today. A little bit of fabric! lolol....It is kitties and puppies; think I might use to sew me a sewing machine cover later. They had it marked down.
I can't get out of there cheap though. By the time I buy flea stuff for the kitties and Zyrtec *generic, it is high.

Uh oh...that's why I try to avoid the craft and fabric stores completely these days!! I used to go to the store to buy toothpaste and come home with three bags of craft supplies! I used to buy a lot of fabrics with cat patterns on them, and still have some of it! I did manage to turn some of my printed fabric into tags by ironing it on heavy card-stock tags with fusible webbing. I should try using thinned glue to do the same thing, since I ran out of the fusible webbing. It gives a nice texture to paper crafts with fabric added. of course it didn't make even a tiny dent in my fabric stash but was a good way to use up those little left over pieces from projects.

I'm going through some boxes of stuff that I had stowed in a corner of my bedroom, to put together a few PIFs and oh my goodness...there were items there that I had completely forgotten about. Definitely time to sort through to see what I have to offer up!

Years ago I bought some Penny Black stickers to make cards with. Recently I found a bag full of the same type of stickers at the LSS Rubber Rummage Sale for next to nothing. I went through both bunches of them and picked out the ones I still want to use and thought I would offer the other ones.

Wherever the Grow!
Language of Flowers
Collage Flowers
Pen and Ink
Day-dreams - 2 sheets

Blossom
So cute!
Christmas Holly

I can send one or multiple sets. If you are interested in any of these, please PM with your name, address and which set(s)

Sande, I got the little diamonds in the mail today! Thank you so much! I know just what I can use them on!
Louise, Wow, Thank you so much! I was so thrilled when I saw all the cool stamps you sent! Was like Christmas! I can't wait to play with them! Motivating me to clean, so I can play with them soon! That was so sweet of you! Appreciate it so much!
Thank you again too Sande! Such fun goodies made me so happy!
I'll have to get on here and offer something up when I get caught up around on the house!

I PM'd you 2-3(?) days ago. Hadn't heard anything. Just wanted to make sure you got it.

Do we ever get out of a store with just the things we went to buy, lol? Try shopping with two kids who want everything!
Thank you so much for the Stamp Press, which came last week. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet but my 8 year old is soooo intrigued! I really appreciate you offering it up as a PIF. Believe it or not, I really don't have much stamping stuff because I usually borrow my mom's stamps and try not to buy too much paper etc.

Shartyl, Would you like some patterned paper, die cuts and stamped images? I would be glad to send you some; they don't have to be a PIF, just my gift to you, so you don't have to worry about offering anything up. The ladies have shared lots with me, and sometimes, they've even sent me multiple images die cuts etc., and between those and ones I already have, i would be glad to share! Just let me know. Send me your address in a PM if you're interested.
The few times I have shopped with kids, I can see where it would be hard. I am a big kid too sometimes! lol...

I too have extra die cuts and images that others have so generously sent to me. If you or anyone is interested in my eclectic array, just PM me. I am willing to send to the USA.

Thank you so much! Yes I would love your extras or duplicates! I just replied to your PM also. I'm probably the only one here who doesn't have a huge stash but I only started making cards about 2 or 3 years ago. I make them for myself and also give them to a local women's shelter. Of course there are all the birthday parties, holidays, thank you cards, and just because cards to make too. Always a reason to send a smile, right?

That is great! It may take me a few days or more to get it together, but I will get it to you! I am so happy you can use it!
