I have a template I print out and use to make card boxes. It makes them so easy to do. I can't wait to see the templates they come out with.

I like the idea, except I can't get my printer to print on cardstock .

I would snap up the template in a minute if it was a .png or .psd format.

I think its great and I love the idea of buying something that you get right away. I'll have to try the first one out but I think it will be fabulous.

I would definately try one and see how much I like it and use it. For me the one plus is that there is no measuring. I'm not very good at that so it would be great for me.

I guess I'm missing your point. Could you explain why the PDF format wouldn't work as well as a PNG? Does it have something to do with transparency? Or did you want a layered PSD file that you could edit?

Print it on copy paper, then use removable adhesive to attach it to your cardstock for cutting and scoring. Once the cutting and scoring is done, remove the copy paper and finish your project.

Can't answer for the original poster, but png or psd would be easy to edit and resize. One thing I've noticed with a lot of the free templates out there is if you print the pdf "as is" it wastes a lot of cardstock. The template looks real purty, but a lot of empty space around it.

Thanks! I might try that but I like the idea of just printing and cutting.

So has anyone tried the free template yet? I might use it to give inexpensive treats to everyone at our family gathering. Everyone's trying to cut costs so we do secret santa now. We used to get a present for every single person that comes (more than 20 people!).

The instructions look great! I love that it give you a lot of ideas on how to use it. I think these templates are well worth the $5!
