From what I can tell, the Bloom box only makes 4 cardsIt does not appear to come with ink, or specialty adhesives
It's $24.95 PLUS tax PLUS shipping. I can't say whether they actually use their card stock and such in their kits or not because I've never ordered it but I can say I probably won't ever order it because once you do it's a 6 month commitment.
I like that SU is month to month, comes with an ink spot and any specialty adhesives you need.

When you subscribe to the Bloom Box, you get a full size stamp set (value up to $19.95). You can continue to use that on other projects. That is one of the things that I like about it. Plus - Fun Stampers Journey provides inspiration for additional cards and projects that you can create with that same stamp set. Even when there has been a month when I think to myself.... hmmmmmm..... I'm not sure if I like this stamp set, once I see more ideas with it, I no longer feel that way. After your first six months agreement, you can cancel any time.

The stamp sets have been amazing. And yes, FSJ paper & products are used and supplied.

Having been a member of both. The Bloom box in my opinion is a way better deal and offering. Full sized stamp set. Red rubber. Cling mounted and indexing on the foam (no stickers). Actual products from the catalog. A colored booklet with instructions. Access to more projects using the stamps. And the biggest difference is its a party in a box. Reorder the supplies. Cut your kits and you have a party for you and your peeps.
So to complicate your question I suggest that you look at the Simon Says Stamp monthly kit. A subscription is less than a monthly purchase and you can discontinue anytime. In addition to the inspiration card in the kit there are lots of ideas on the Internet (Blog links, YouTube, inspiration board on the blog site, pins)
Check out their blog and the designers they link too. Many have video of their work. Yana has been doing a monthly video of 10 cards are creates with just the kit products.
I've bought some kits. In some cases I've just jumped in and bought the products separately because I had parts. Kits include full size stamp sets, paper and designer or accent papers. I've gotten stickers and other accent items. Sometimes a metal die. Sometimes ink cubes. Glue pen, sequins. Definitely an "ooooo pretty" time when opening the box
I've purchased card kits from the Stamps of Life for over a year and I've never been disappointed. You can watch previous card kit videos on the website to see what kinds of things are sent. You get several sheets of cardstock (along with a large Sizzix envelope for storage), 12 envelopes, a full size 6x6 pad of DP, stamp set, coordinating die, 2 rolls of ribbon, usually a pkg of thick twine, and embellishments. I love these kits!! The Stamps of Life - Join the Club!

I'm a bit fed up with the quality of PaperPumpkin kits. Best options are Stamp of Life and Simon Says? I live in Canada, so not sure if they ship. Value for $? Thanks for your opinions.
Love the video of the SSS card kit! I think I'll check into these kits, but in the meantime the cards are cute and would be easy to use as inspiration for stamps I already have.
I'm so glad the OP asked about this and that others answered. I am not very interested in the Bloom Box. Christine, thank you, in particular, for the detailed information you shared. I couldn't find on the website when it says anything about what kind of stamp (wood, cling, clear, etc.) the stamps are, and that is one of the most important details for me.

Hi Alice, all FSJ stamps are red rubber, unmounted with indexing on the foam not a separate sticker. This is good feedback that it is not listed on the site. I will pass it along to the powers that be. thank you!

Wow. That is a lot of videoing! She does this every month?
Having been stamping since l998 I have enough stamps and paper to open my own store! LOL I guess it would depend on your level of commitment..one at a time..or in for the long haul! It might be the perfect thing for someone just starting out though.
I didn't realize it was a 6 month commitment, no thanks
You now have the option of choosing a single purchase of the Bloom Box. These stamps are now EXCLUSIVE stamps and once they are sold out of the Bloom Box they will not be available again. The stamps use to be available as a purchase 3 months after the Bloom Box release, but no longer.

There's a whole section of "former bloom box stamps" on the website and in the new catalog. Am I misunderstanding what those are?
In the current catalog, 21 stamp sets that were previously offered with the Bloom Boxes are available along with matching dies to some of the sets.. The Bloom Box kits are available now for just the current month. If you have a subscription the price is $24.95 plus shipping and tax and you are guaranteed one will be mailed to you at the start of the month. If you want to wait and see what is being offered you can order the Bloom Box anytime during its month, but only as supplies last. The price then is $29.95 plus shipping and tax, but you still get the stamp set with kits for 4 cards including embellishments and paper already cut, die cut, pierced etc.
