Default Paper Crafts Magazine

I make frequent visits to SCS and have noticed on several occasions mention of Paper Crafts magazine. I've never heard of it or seen it in the store. My kids' school is having a magazine sale fundraiser. I found it on the list, but the description was vague. For those of you who get this magazine, what can I expect? Is it great, okay or not worth getting? Just curious, Chris

I also like it! Often they advertise lots of new stuff and have patterns that go along with the projects...oh and the contests that you can enter for free stuff. Here is a link to their site...check it out......

What can you expect? To get your $$$'s worth, for sure! I love this magazine. It's not stamp-intensive, tho...so just be aware of that. If you want lots of stamp techniques and stuff, this isn't your mag. But if you want a wide variety of awesome paper crafting projects, you can't go wrong! Did I mention I love this magazine??!!

For the money, it's a great magazine. They have neat techniques, seasonal projects, cards, gift bags, all sorts of things, but not all are stamping. Many of them have matching or extra projects on their web site. Usually, each issue will spotlight a technique, such as embossing, eyelets, etc. I don't like every issue, but overall it's definately worth it.

I love it! I don't subscribe but have asked "Santa" to bring it this year. If you want a little taste, you can go to the website for some bonus projects:

I subscribed to Paper Crafts a year ago when some of the SCSers were talking it up and I like it enough that I'm renewing it now. As mentioned earlier though, it is NOT dedicated to stamping, but I still get lots of great tips from it, especially layouts, embellishment ideas, sentiments, etc. In fact, right now I'm playing around with making my own word blocks/text squares (using Microsoft Word) from an article in the August issue that gave the directions on how to do this. So I'd say, go for it!

I subscribe to nearly everything and Paper Crafts is my favorite - hands down. It's not all stamping but it still has great ideas - they're easy to duplicate and are always cheerful. I love it!!!
