Default Paper Clip Book Mark Adhesive

Has anyone ever used the Scotch Quick Dry Tacky Adhesive on the paperclip bookmarks? I do not have the 6000 adhesive that has been mentioned. Is it available at HL or Michaels and what is the correct name? I hope to get by with what I have but don't want them to fall apart either.

I haven't tried that adhesive. I use the pop-up glue dots.

Yes. I just bought some this weekend at Michaels, it's in the glue section. It was $3.49 I believe. It is a gray tube and it is called E6000.

I actually used my hot glue gun to make mine. Very fast and dried almost instantly. They are not coming apart, no matter what!

I used some CE. I put a glob on the first piece, set the clip into the glob and let it set up. Then I put a glob on the second piece and set the clip and first piece onto the glob and let it set up. It was handy and I had no fumes.

E6000 works great. You can get it a Michaels and I have even found in the craft section at Wal-mart. I would think a hot glue gun would work fine too. I'm not sure the quick dry glue will work you need something kind of thick.

I use the Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive....And two clothpins to hold my chipboard pieces together against the clip.

I have used the E6000 and it works the best but I have also used Aileen's tacky glue. You just have to hold it together longer and definitely use a clothespin as was previously suggested. I also bought some glue that is very similar to E6000 without the smell at Walmart, it is in a yellow tube but I can't remember the name - works great though.
