Okay, my demo is offering a % off at a Stamp Camp tomorrow. I am trying to decide what to get. I don't have all the ink pads or any of the water color crayons. I was thinking I might get those since they are staples and the price is gonna go up...and I would be getting them for a cheaper price. Although there are some stamps that I want....boohoo...what to do...

I love my watercolor crayons, and to the best of my knowledge, they aren't going up in price, so you could hold off on those a bit longer, if there are sets or inks that you are really wanting now.

i mostly went for stamps cause the crayons will still be available!
thats just me... i am still trying to collect the ink pads and all the CS. want but don't have any crayons. but they will still be there in the new catalog.
I bet your demo will have the new catalog tomorrow or the next day and can tell you if the prices are going up. Once you know for sure, your decision will be a little bit easier not much easier because we all know you need it all!
I think I read on the long thread on the new catalog that the crayon prices aren't going up. So I would personally stock up on things that are either retiring, or where the price is going up. I bought a bunch of card stock because the price is going up $.50 a packet and I bought three new punches because they are going up $2 a piece.
Decide what you reaaaalllllly want from the retired list. I went crazy one year just sure that I had to have several retiring sets.... you guessed it, I NEVER used them. I really do evaluate what I will use now.
Ink pads, oh yea, they'll be worth it.
I got the markers. I just knew I wouldn't spend the $ once the prices went up.
I'm a hobby demo (since Nov 06) and I only had a limited amount to spend... I ended up buying the color families in ink pads I still don't have and the full marker set, plus CS. I was debating on stamp sets, but as someone else said, newer ones will come that will appeal to you... and there is always eBay later for retired sets if you do decide there is one you absolutely must have.
I would get the ink pads before the crayons or stamps. Awhile ago I splurged and got the watercolor crayons and don't use them at all. You can use inks with stamps, blender pens, and watercolor brushes. It's a personal thing, I am just not good at coloring with the little buggars! I ended up going the prismacolor pencil/gamsol way to do my coloring -have not regretted it. As for stamps, TONS of retired sets will hit the used market (even here in the buy/sell forum) and there will be always be more great stamps in the new catty!!
Thanks everyone for your advice! I have the entire family of Bold Brights and almost all the Soft Subtles. I think I am going to get some ink pads and one family of water color crayons. I have the markers already and love them. I'm also gonna stock up again on paper.
I want NEW stamps from the NEW catalog!!! Boohoo when will they get to Indiana???
