Default One of A Kind Rubber Stamp/Scrapbook show

This is being held in Madison, WI 11/20-21. Wondering if anyone has ever attended before? Considering going because they have a basic copic class.

Thanks

I have been to one in years past and it is fun. They usually have pretty good vendors. I think it would be a good choice.

I have been wanting to attend this for years, but it always coincides with the gun-deer hunt. CRUD.

I have attended the past three years and it is great. The last two years, I attended on Friday night for the Make and Take Market. It is a bit pricey at $39, but all booths have a free make and take--plus it is so less crowded and so nice to chat with the vendors too. I have not taken a class at it though--but I would think they would be good too.

Will it be worth it to go to this just to shop on Saturday, do you think?

YES...at least I think so...I have gone the last 2 years and had a fabulous time!

There were lots of vendors, good deals, and lots of make and takes. My advice would be to go as early as you can as it was difficult to park and was very very crowded at the booths.

Have fun...I'm not able to go this year...bummed...

I have gone to the One of a Kind show in Madison since it started in 2001 & always had a great time. What I first liked about this show was that every vendor either did a demo or a make n take. With more scrapping type vendors there are fewer demo's & with the economy, not all stamp vendors do make n takes or charge for them now.

Here is the vendor list.

It's worth going if for no other reason than to visit Gary Burlin's booth. He's a distributor for tons of stamping supplies. There is a big sale (rummage style) table. I got most of my Pearl-Ex there for 75 a jar. He has reinkers (pads too) for Ranger, Tsukineko, ColorBox inks & many tools & stamping supplies. These are regular price, but to be able to find it all in one place is rare. Also have to mention he sells Copics & refills. Usually has one or two demo's going.

I have already gone through the vendor list and checked their websites when given and have my list made out of booths I don't want to miss. It can get pretty busy and I speak both as a shopper and as someone who has worked at a booth. I think it's a pretty good shopping opportunity and you get to try out some product that you might not find in the LSS. I'm pretty sure you pay for parking and admission is $7 unless you have the dollar off coupon.

Go - I'm sure you will enjoy it!

Default One of a Kind $1 coupon

I'm hoping I've been able to attach a $1 coupon. My son always saved one from the newspaper for me but he has moved from Madison. So I emailed the organizer & asked if there was one hiding on her website. She sent me one & told me to share it. It's in a PDF file. Note that it is about 250% so you may want to downsize it to 100% to print it.

Have a great time if you go!
