Default Omaha/Norfolk Nebraska

Hey everyone,
I'm flying into Omaha for a seminar that is in Norfolk and will have time to kill in both towns. I would love to go to an awesome stamp/scrapbooking store or anything else that's interesting in the area. Any ideas????

TIA
Stacey

Default Things to do in Omaha

Hi,

Some good craft stores in Omaha are:

Mangelsen's-about 84th and Center
http://www.mangelsens.com/

Archivers-about 168th and Dodge
http://www.archiversonline.com/

Foofala-about 121st and Center
http://www.foofala.com/
(Teresa and Donna are great!!)

As far as other things to do...
The Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha is one of the best in the nation and is a must see!
http://www.omahazoo.com/

Also the Old Market is near the zoo and is great!

I have no idea about Norfolk.

I hope this helps, and I hope you have a great time here!!!

Norfolk has a nice Super Wal-Mart, but that's as far as I know.
I second Michelle's suggestion of Archivers and Mangleson's. Plus connected to Mangelson's is Farmhouse Cafe...eat the Big "O" casserole-it has potatoes, roma tomatoes, red onions, and Nebraska beef. You won't be sorry you ate there. OOO! And for dessert, have the zebra brownie...brownie and cream cheese goodness.
Come to think of it, you may never get to a craft store.

Enjoy our city!

Hi,
I live about 40 minutes from Norfolk. There is a nice Super Wal-Mart, but there really aren't any scrapbooking/stampin stores. There is a Hobby Lobby, but that is about it. Wish there was more! Hope you enjoy your time in Nebraska!

There are some great scrapbook stores in Omaha. When I lived there Memories Etc was my favorite.
I think their website is www.memoriesetc.com
