Default OK, ladies, I just finished packing for Vancouver...
What have I forgotten?
This is my first SU! event. I packed everything on the list, my swaps, my apron, cards to give to SU!, my digital camera...
Anything that you would recommend that isn't obvious? I am looking for hints from all of you seasoned veterans!!

Well, I would consider chocolate obvious but just in case you don't, I'll mention it - don't forget chocolate. Let's see, what else - since I don't know what's obvious to you I'll list a few more...

~ extra memory card for digital camera
~ calling card in case your hotel charges outrageous amounts for local calls and your cell phone battery dies... though that probably only happens to me!
~ throat lozenges in case you start to lose your voice from yelling every time you see another SCSer.
~ a sorry your team didn't win card for Pam (just in case - things aren't looking very good right now but my boys are know for their come from behind wins!)

That's all I can think of right now.

Woohoo!! I'm IN Vancouver! I'm at the MIL's place, and they even made me cabbage rolls! Woohoo! It's my first SU event too....I only made a dozen swaps for regionals (I did do mine for the SCS dinner afterwards too!!) because I figured I'd be too busy being in awe and taking pictures!

I'm the one without an apron or nametag!! LOL

I can't wait ~ tomorrow night the fun begins!

Actually, Pam, I had chocolate on my list!! :lol:
In fact, I even have a bag for you...

My candy guy couldn't get the M&M's for us, so he went to Bartell's himself and bought me 2 bags!

I am about 4 days behind in my packing/ preparations. I must stamp, stamp.

Hey girls, if your coming from the Washington side you might want to bring you birth certificate in case you need it at the border. You know "just in case". See you all there on Friday.
